  1. man is content like this really what i've been missing from the game threads
  2. The one thing I never got about Sam is why whenever he does get to the top of his drop, more of then than not he's still holding the ball. I'm willing to put some of that on the offense -- I really think our supporting cast not named CMC has been inconsistent and that includes DJ at times -- but sometimes there has to be someone accidentally open. O-line's garbo but no excuse for that.
  3. There's a difference between "less than perfect" and "holy poo this is really bad." And you can still criticize how Sam has responded to pressure, Sure! But lets not act like this o-line has been any good. at all. Our that our outlet receivers have been good either.
  4. I don't agree. Robby is inconsistent -- it's more than just Sam -- our O-line has one good player, our other WRs are young or role players at best, our TE is a rookie. This is the remains of an offense that was built for Cam that hasn't found an identity yet. And I do agree that while I don't mind the focus on defense the last two seasons, very little has been put onto offense and it is showing and it is frustrating. But again this is year two Robby over Curt was the wrong call but looking at Curts contract Robby is still having the better season lol
  5. I'm not saying either of those are false but Ians penalty and the hold on the drive before was more damning than anything else. I'm not saying Sam's good, or Brady's game has been great but the Pats have had the ball 7 more minutes than us because they can run the ball with more than just their best player. Our whole offense is bad. I've been saying this for weeks. We can't run consistently against anyone not named Atlanta. We have to pass it a bunch with a Shaky QB behind Shaky protection. We only have one proven NFL WR.
  6. I really don't understand how to 3rd an longs and a deflected pass are Sam or Joe Brady's fault but you know i'm really done tryna understand the huddle.
  7. Lmao that RB is a batter catcher than any of our WRs
  8. listen i'm an open contrarian here but no one on either "side" saw anything but ceiling stopgap here for Irving
  9. I hope not but I know one thing for sure either way this message board will be unhappy.
  10. Where are these other experienced rosters? Matthew Stafford, sure. LA unarguably has a better roster than us. But other than that? What other team that needs a QB has a mix of talent and experience? The Broncos was my answer but now their franchise defensive player just got traded, though their offense has more proven talent than ours. Washington? Sure their roster is arguably better but lol that org. Minn seems content with Kirk. Like I agree with your point, but what other options would he have? There's no other Tampa Bays or Ram like rosters out there that need a QB that's as close to a sure thing.
  11. Like for Wilson I agree but Dolphins WR core and O-Line are about equal to ours with more invested and with a worse run game. idk why everyone is so defeatist like we have one of the worst rosters in the NFL. We need guards and a TE/WR2. That's really it. We have cap coming up, but the problem is there's not a lot of good FA value for o-linemen consistently.
  12. People reading this quote, ignoring the fact we left a TD and about 40-60 yards on the field and a bad pass blocking o-line that literally lets pressure up the middle on almost every drop back: Hm yes, this is solely on Sam and fuging Gardner "Worse Teddy Bridgewater" Minshew is a better QB than Sam. People reading this post: Lol look at this blind Sam defender. our whole offense is bad except our run game.
  13. No Brian is very active on defense. We ask him to do a lot. The worst thing you can say about BB is he needs to wrap up better. Dude flashes a ton and gets pressure pretty consistently. he took better angles/wrapped up better he'd have about 6-7 sacks.
  14. that 57 yarder was never in doubt. good poo from zane. Joey did make a field goal today btw! looked like he was about to poo bricks before he kicked it but he did it. Good for him.
  15. it's post win mojo hour rn but this is an accurate take. We have a bad o-line and our passing game is suspect. Teams that aren't in talent limbo like us are gonna take advantage of that.
  16. like with all the issues on the team, and Sam has made some boneheaded throws and i legit cannot figure out why his timing was so whack earlier this season Our WRs cannot gain consistent separation. I do not know why. Anyway on topic Sam was on target and on time today and made a few nice throws, and few that were dropped. His numbers don't really indicate his play today. Really, REALLY impressed though with how he managed the game. He was make checks and adjustments very well and our offense moved very well against a Falcons team that was trending up. Still a question mark long term -- he can absolutely develop and grow despite some people on here telling you otherwise -- but can he do it in a timely manner? But this was a good bounce back game for him.
  17. He played at FS a bit today. Plus there's not a lot of guys who can run like DJax. We have a lot of guys rn that can do what Bradberry did for us luckily. I don't think it'll be as easy to replace what DJax offers.
  18. This offense is a bunch of very solid guys with no real elite playmakers without CMac. Like this is a great game overall by Brady and no one's made any real mistakes (besides some drops) We just don't have any real play makers.
  19. play calling has actually been a strong point today. execution has killed us more
