  1. Jalen Hurts has entered the chat. Eagles get away with it by having a cheap defense. Remains to be seen if the 49ers can pull it off
  2. That's where I am. He'd be great in a rotational role unburdened from having to start. Has to be something deeper for him being cut for essentially peanuts, or we're gonna go after depth/stop gap at another position.
  3. Yeah if there was a season I think an ownership like the Rooneys would be "okay" with tanking It's the year the winners get a Manning as a QB. Can totally see the "Steeler way" going out try he window this season for Arch.
  4. Lmao have you seen the dudes reaction since he posted the tweets? Bro is hurt BAD and is crashing out. went on her FB account at one point and posted a manic apology posing as her. Dude isnt rational rn.
  5. I really like Chiime Dike out of Florida on Day 3. I think he's a back of roster guy who can maybe develop into more and adds speed for cheap.
  6. No I...personally didn't have him rated that much higher than Ewers. I thought they'd be Day 2 guys but quite a few prospects slid further than I thought. Lots of safe stuff Shedeur likes to run, never on time, takes more boneheaded sacks than Fields does right now or Cam ever did. And then there's stuff you can't coach better like lack of arm and not overly mobile.
  7. I don't think there's any thing that projects higher than Wallace or Jewell at this point but I like Stutsman a lot here.
  8. Like taking his tape aside for second because that's subjective What in heaven makes you think he'd be chill with being third strong on the Carolina Panthers? You keep saying 4th round take a shot like there isn't baggage with this player.
  9. Three edges for this team isn't crazy and I'm pounding the table for Bradyn Swinson
  10. I admit he's not worse than Gabriel that was just silly lmao But he's Teddy Bridgwater. And that's if he learns to play on time. That's his ceiling. Do we really want that?
  11. I was just thinking man we're building a good locker room, let's add a The Golden Calf of Bristol level distraction to it for the fug of it.
  12. The only lineman on our roster with respect on their name?
  13. Like this pick with Princely a lot more. He is a.... question mark as a rusher but he's a meat and potatoes kind of player when we need all the help we can get on the line.
  14. If he actually learns to use his hands to disengage, he could be a steal in this draft and I've been saying this since before I knew he'd be a Panther But man he just...doesn't have a bag. And it's gonna be rough to learn in the NFL.
  15. And this is a guy in college who would lose to TEs sometimes. I was never high on him, but hate that injury is the reason he slid. Sucks for him.
  16. I really don't get why no one has been talking about Kyle Willams (besides Simms, eugh) but I'd love him.
  17. Unless he tests like an absolute unit his tape is exactly that. Either way I'd puke if we took in top 10.
  18. And my response is there is a world where both can co exist, I think both will be fine for the locker room. Neither are full time starters and better as situational guys at this point. But with our crippling lack of any discernable pass rush talent we need depth and technique more than anything else. Even if we go pass rush at 8 it's not a bad start to tie up some cap in pass rush for the year.
  19. You act as if just throwing money to younger talent doesn't have risks too. Every move has its own risks and rewards. Kalil Mack isn't just an ordinary veteran and could have a Thielen like presence on or defense. The best available young FA at the position is Chase Young. Who has already turned us down and under performed. After that it's Josh Sweat. Unless you think you're gonna hit it big on someone like Higgins this FA, or want to pay for OL more in the FA, Mack and Higgins doesn't hurt long term plans esp since Clowney expries next year anyway.
  20. Putting vets on your team doesn't stop you from getting developmental prospects. If anything it helps enable it. I'd be hard pressed to find a complaint for a character Mack in the locker room as long as we still start building for the future.
  21. A large part of it, but we can stop this thing where we try to assign blame to one entity in particular. Reich was bad, Bryce was bad, Over crowded coaching room was bad, OL was bad, WRs were bad. The whole team was bad. It's in the rear view mirror.
  22. Robert Kraft had Mayo waiting in the wings for 5 years because because Mayo impressed him on a mission trip when he organized a meeting while the plane was delayed. “The main thing, we’re at the airport getting ready to leave, and there was a big delay. So we had all of these guys sitting around,” Kraft explained. “Then Jerod organized a meeting with a forum and held a discussion on the trip. He did it all on his own. “And at that moment, I saw the initiative and the way people respected him. And I said to myself: ‘He’s going to be our next head coach.’” Owners are mostly stupid and more often than not stumble into success.
  23. 100%, reported he's hungry for the job.
  24. To be fair the Lions have a much more talented roster. But also: Our talent is turning down more money to play for other teams because they don't feel Evero schemes them right. When he pounds the table for players like D.J. Johnson and "his guys" are players like Jewell, won't miss him if he leaves too tough.
