Both were really underdeveloped coming out. Corral doesn't have the same mechanical issues that Sam had though. Sam has done virtually nothing to correct the issues he had coming out of college and kind of regressed his final year. Corral has progressed since last year. They aren't really comparable honestly, Sam is this big strong physical athlete where as Matt is smaller and doesn't quite have the same physical tools, but is a much cleaner quarterback already. Matt's biggest hill he will need to overcome is his progression from a major RPO system and his own physical limitations.

Howell had a good deep ball AT TIMES for sure. However, he also let it sail and hang for safeties to make plays on. Corral is the better deep ball thrower of the two.

It would have been Pickett or Penning for sure. Assuming the other tackles were gone too, which I guess was never going to happen as some expected. I highly doubt they would have taken Pickett over Neal or Cross, that is just not true lol

Ridder > Howell is generally the consensus. One team has Howell as QB1 that I know of, so that could be interesting. I don't think the media knows what to do with JJ? He is certainly a top 10 guy. For us? Muma makes a lot of sense, just a matter of if he will be there when we pick later.
