That would prob end up in a 1:1 trade for Tua hahaha
-
Totally agree, outside of blowing the entire leadership team up on top of drafting Bryce, then firing them all halfway into the season. All that drama just to end up right back where we started
-
He's also hurt for a significant portion of every season.

We were always gonna have to beat the Bucs twice. Hopefully the warnings sent by Murray and Tua's contracts are enough for us to make the right decision going forward. BY has never had a season remotely close to as good as the ones that got them those contracts.

Only the Saints (LOL), Browns, Titans and Raiders average less points per game than us. We are behind the JETS in avg PPG and a lot of other teams with HORRIBLE records. I'm saying again we are very lucky not to be a 2-4 win team right now. We have big, big problems to address (the same ones we've had for years!). Do we want to build a possession based team that always tries to keep it low scoring? I just don't know what we WANT to be and what we are kind of forced to be at the moment.

NFL admits the TMac catch should not have been overturned

You were hollering about the 20-17 finish fairly early lol. A wizard, you are. -

This didn't impact the game since we got a 1st on the next play but it's still ridiculous. I love football but it really is a joke, nobody with half a brain and any real world experience believes that the amount of money in sports betting is having 0 effect on the outcomes of these games. It is not healthy for anybody. We have people telling players to kill themselves or talking about doing things to their family because they dropped a pass or didn't get enough yards for their over. We do too much to promote and enable people to be the worst version of themselves. It's only a matter of time before some massive scandal is broken. -
I've seen enough tape review to see that we run crossers...we have dudes in the middle of the field. I have to think that this is a harder area for someone of Bryce's stature to hit. You have to see directly over the center of the line and is probably where the most interceptions happen (he has thrown a LOT of his picks by not seeing a dude in the middle of the field).

That is a shite reality to face, but I do agree. I still want us to win though lol.

Our record has severely outpaced where we actually are as a team, in my opinion. Outside of the 30-0 win where Penix literally played like a Pop Warner QB, we have struggled to win any of our games. We have no problem getting blown out, though. We have invested a ton in our offense and it is still bad. We will never be good until we can get on the right side of the league scoring avg.

He's a hindrance. That isn't a personal attack, it just is what it is. I feel like everybody exploits the middle of the field, it's a crucial part of an NFL offense and we seem incapable of doing it with him. We would need an all-time elite defensive unit to compete with him at QB

It doesn't make me less angry about how we played yesterday, but the ONLY reason we're even in a position to be this upset is because the Bucs have been in a total death spiral. They were losing their chit after Thursday night...we'll see this weekend whether it's a galvanizing moment for them or a public timestamp on their total collapse.

It won't be cold in their game.

Shough did just that on the slant to Olave. Horn had sold out for the pick and if that ball was anywhere near behind him, it's probably a turnover. Instead, we are here.

Losing to the 3-10 Saints is not what I'd consider playoff experience.

Going for it instead of leading by two scores in the 4th

I think going for it was right...it's what we do. I think Chuba chose the wrong hole, he dove right into the back of a dude that had already lost and stood straight up. -
I agree. Was answering the mans question. My faith in the team to perform when it's all on the line could not be any lower right now.
-
Yes. We have to win 2 and the Bucs have to lose 2, doesn't matter which way it happens. That's why losing yesterday was such a colossal let down.
-
With how injured the Bucs have been I would be surprised to see them send starters out if they win the next 2 weeks. That would really be a kick in the nuts to have us play their 2nd string in a meaningless finale.

The rule really is quite insane when you think about it. The NFL is so hyper-regulated in every way now. It's not fair to expect human beings to make these calls. You can blame the refs but really, I blame the NFL. Protect them in the pocket and other than that you should expect to get your head knocked off.
-
Def not rigged. I would agree that the quality of the games in general has DRASTICALLY gone down in recent years, though. And a lot of that has to do with the refs.

Did We Have an Intentional Vanilla Gameplan?
Moonraker replied to Carolina Cajun's topic in Carolina Panthers
We are 4.5 points under the league average for scoring. Not gonna be a very good team when you are on the wrong side of that. It's quite shocking how bad our offense is considering the insane amount of capital we've invested compared to the defense.
