  1. “We’re very open to trading back” were Fitterer’s words
  2. Anyone know when Panthers pre-draft presser will be?
  3. say it ain’t so this man here was a favorite of mine
  4. Panthers have Rashawn Slater rated higher on their board Joe Person told me personally last night when he came over to my place for some sex
  5. No sir Joe Person under oath mind you said this was 100% true undefeated never lost
  6. Although the Derrick Brown pick is looking really good right now this years DT draft class is atrocious
  7. Keep in mind that Rhule wanted to trade out of #7 last year but Marty was in love with Derrick Brown
  8. - Panthers are not enthralled with QB’s Trey Lance or Mac Jones - are intrigued by Fields but could just be a smokescreen and isn’t sure there is real interest - The team really likes CB’s Jayce Horn and Patrick Surtain and both would be targeted IF Panthers trade down
  9. Very nice work this would be a nice draft for us. However I believe 2 out of the first 3 rounds (possibly 3/3) will be players from the offensive side of the team.
  10. Terrific athlete but not a great QB prospect
  11. DAQUAN JONESDL, CAROLINA PANTHERS Panthers signed DL DaQuan Jones, formerly of the Titans, to a one-year, $4.05 million contract. Jones heads to Carolina after seven seasons with the Titans, where he proved durable as a run stuffer, starting every game over the past three seasons. Pro Football Focus graded Jones as the 35th best defensive lineman in 2020, when he recorded three sacks and was 16th among defensive linemen with 33 tackles. He'll be an upgrade for a Tennessee defensive line graded by PFF in 2020 as the league's 17th best rush defense and third worst pass rush.
  12. RASHAWN SLATERT, COLLEGE PLAYER ESPN's Dan Orlovsky sees the Lions doing "whatever they can to impact the bigs on either side" in the first round of the draft. Orlovsky is simply speculating but he does have experience with many of the decision-makers within Detroit. He played with HC Dan Campbell in Detroit, who was a tight end for the team from 2006 to 2008. Orlovsky also spent the summer of 2017 with the Rams. Lions GM Brad Holmes was the Director of College Scouting for LA at the time. The Lions hold pick No. 7 and that leaves them in an awkward spot for either side of the line. Northwestern OT Rashawn Slater could be in play for Detroit if Oregon OT Penei Sewell is off the board. The Lions are thin at a number of position groups so "best player available" should be their approach even if Campbell and Holmes want to add some talent to the trenches.
