This.is for the folks who think our coaches and GM don't know what they are doing. Yes, Rhule was brought in to change our culture, and to build a perennial winner. Yes, both him and Tepper said to have patience. That doesn't mean that their not trying to get the center piece as soon as possible. The sooner you have a franchise QB, the better it aids in building that perennial winner. I feel it's pretty obvious they aren't scared of doing what it takes to get the one they feel can do that. Their top 10 choices may not, probably not look like yours or mine. It's a long off season, and it's going to be entertaining to watch it unfold, and watch the huddle freak out at every turn.

One of the greatest field generals to ever take the field, was said to have a noodle arm, and was only a 3rd round pick. While I would prefer my qb to have a strong arm, if he is a leader of men, with a killer instinct, I can over look the arm. There have been MANY Superbowl winning examples of this.

In the process of rebuilding the defense, not sure we could afford to get rid of two young starters, plus draft capitol that would enable us to replace them. My original opinion is still the same. While I would love to have Watson, I believe the.cost is to.much for our team at this point. I know whomever trades for Watson is going to give up a historical amount to aquire him.

There has NEVER been enough top flight QBs for even a third of the league. That is the history of the league. This is nothing new, except that we're in a more pass happy league.

Shows the value of a good QB. and fools think Watson's value is going to go down.

Wildly inconsistent and inaccurate QB ? Hope he isn't expecting anything promises. Not even a roster spot.

It also would probably turn off a lot of head coaches. Can't have a franchise QB acting like that to get his way. Rhule wouldn't have it.

That only works when you don't have such an elite QB. You're trying to list scenarios where the QB is no longer desired by the team, and is a shadow of his former self, or just a journeyman.
