  1. He'll be worth every penny, regardless. He'll be more than 20 million a year.
  2. Jeremy, you have come a very long way, from the first time discovered the huddle, eons ago. This is a true, sincere compliment. We are blessed to have you doing what you do, that you love to do. Thank you. Oh, and the write up wasn't bad either!!
  3. Has wondered time to time where he gone off to. So sorry to hear this news. My heart is heavy tonight. My prayers to his wife, family, and friends.
  4. exactly. Once a team takes a different high profile pick, it will most definitely affect the rest of the draft, how the teams would finish, and every draft that follows. You don't pass up on a franchise qb when you have the opportunity to get one.
  5. I have confidence in the team. While Shula is the popular concern. Mine is more detailed. The offense's biggest struggle from year to year, is starting fast. The oline has failed the mesh well at the bigging of seasons. There has been turnover, injuries, you name it. If we can enter training camp knowing our starting 5, and they get through preseaso. With no injuries or set backs, i hope they start the season better than they have in the past. Everything starts and ends in the trenches.
  6. A lot of pathological liars call the huddle home.
  7. I wouldn't want Stewart to play any differently than he has throughout his career. It's what makes him so good. I don't care the running styles of the back, injuroes are gonna happen regardless.
  8. Boykin looks like a gamer to me. Don't see how he can't make plays with KB, Funchess, and Olsen drawing the coverage they'll be getting.
  9. I'm not surprised at all that I find myself in total agreement with Scot's post. This game had everything ya could want in a game, including the incredibly tense over time, that ended with arguably the best offensive play in the history or the franchise.
  10. 40. My mom and sister are Cowboy fans, seeing as they were born in the dallas area. I've seen a lot of Cowboys football, but can honestly say they were never my team. I just never felt loyalty to any one NFL team when I was a kid. When the NFL expanded, i decided i wanted to be with a team from the beginning. So i chose. The rest is history.
  11. I can honestly say, life long football fan. Never called any team my own til the Panthers came along. I'm over the hill.
  12. First of all, the Panthers and Vikings did nothing in conspiracy. What they did was known while it was happening. I never really cared enough about the whole issue of the deflated balls. It's not enough to be an issue in my eyes. That being said, the Patriots are repeat offenders wgen it comes to cheating. I'm also really disappointed that the head coach gets off. IMO, if there is any punishment meant on this, the head coach should be included. Oh well. Fug the Patriots.
  13. No one will trade the Panthers a first round pick for any of our running backs. /end thread.
  14. QFT, and Lee Ward looks and plays the part!!
  15. Would love to have a good, true traditional fullback back on the roster.
  16. i don't know anybody who is clamoring for Cam to be the highest paid qb in rhe NFL, but I expect it. Would LOVE to end up being wrong on what he gets.
