  1. You're so cute when you act like you know football, but then ignore anything that doesn't support your opinion. I read your posts. You can't hold back on your complete disdain for Young. I get it, it's your opinion. I don't feel you're being unbiased in your opinion...but that's what makes opinions great. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Knowing your deep disdain for Young, there is no reason to even have a conversation with you about Young, because you're incapable of anything but, "he sucks ass and he's a bust."
  2. Look. I don't think Bryce Young's physical stature meets anybody's idea of who their ideal QB is. No amount of carrying on about it day in, and day out, is going to change his physical traits. This is why I choose to focus on on his strengths. He does have strengths. He does have traits that a lot of QBs wish they had. Did he have a terrible rookie season? No doubts. Was it on him? Impossible to say. To much of the offense was a damn joke around him to know ifnhe can be competent or not...especially because it was his rookie season.
  3. It's really difficult to look at our defensive line and see more than one difference maker.
  4. Suppose these men that are scared of shorter QB's will never stop posting their disdain.
  5. One could argue we've been there for 5 years.
  6. I believe many are just looking at this wrong. For any to come in here, in what is absolutely an unproven offense, and suggest that we're just going to let our young QB sling it around... that is not a recipe for success. Don't care who the young QB is. It is absolutely best to start the season establishishing the run game, and allow Young better opportunities to flourish. I know half of you simply thing the kid is already a waste of time. That take is pretty damn pointless at this moment. It is in the best interest of this team that Young becomes the winner here in the pros that he has been throughout all his playing days. I know we're in a passing league. I've heard that most of you feel a team can't win in the modern NFL with leaning more on the running game. All that poo doesn't matter. Without balance, neither is going to win in the NFL. A strong running game has to be respected by opposing defense. They won't have a choice. Either commit to stopping it or be ran over, and in the 4th QB their defense will be gassed and worthless. Finding true balance will mean the passing game will exceed all expectations for this team. When teams rely upon a balanced attack it has been proven time and time again that a good stable of running backs is needed. Even elite passing attacks need some threat of a running game. This season is going to be a growing season no matter what. Leaning on the run game is a great way for this team to exceed expectations.
  7. I love running plays. Besides they set up the pass to be more dangerous.
  8. Which is doable. Well. Use to be. Seems like it's more challenging to do the same things in 2024 than what I did 20 years ago. Luckily the quality of graphics in the game haven't changed.
  9. There is no way the individual offenses would be even offered to Madden.
  10. Looking back through it all. Remember, the Peppers weren't even considering Frank until the press said that they should. So then they bring him in for an interview somehow in the multiple interviews he impresses up9n them more than any other candidate that they spoke too. He comes in, assembles what should have been an all-star staff. How did the staff not have a unified vision? That staff should have been able to put together systems that at least would have.... 1) suited our players & 2) been able to win us more games. At what point did the dissension begin? Were they ever on the same page? I really don't want to spark a discussion...it's truly water under the bridge at this point. I just find it astonishing that it happened to such a group of NFL coaches.
  11. I'm trying to avoid being attacked by anybody. If need be, I bring the attack to them. Element of surprise!
  12. Not even sure why you responded to my post. Thanks for what I already know though.
  13. Regardless of the league being a passing league. There has to be some balance. Many either forget, or just don't understand the hardest offensive play to defend is a well executed run play. With most defenses running more defensive backs, a commitment to running the ball should pay off in spades.
  14. First post of the thread that speak of any real reason and truth.
  15. Penny is an impressive running back. One that still hasn't proven anything in the NFL. His best year isn't even close to Sanders best year, and people in here be talking out their asses with no flow control. I'm excited in the fact that Penny is my kind of back. I'm not getting excited on the fact that Penny hasn't proven anything. So what does this all mean? I believe it's just another piece, to ensure we have quality depth and rotation at running back. The most often injured position in the NFL.
  16. 3500+ yards 25 TD's Less than 10 INT. Ultimately it's more about leading the team to wins. Wins and losses are a team Stat. Anything less than winning the division is a failure on the team. They can say they are rebuilding all they want to, every team's goal is to win their division to make it to the playoffs. That's the bottom line.
  17. Not sure you understand what being a fan means.
  18. Water is wet. Tepper. Sun is hot. Tepper Being human with human emotions. Low life sonofavitch! TEPPER!!
  19. First, we didn't have an opportunity in drafting the best receivers in the class. So that meant that we had to pick from players for various reasons, were ranked on a lower tier. Our decision makers chose the player that has the most upside. That developing that talent that exists in him, puts him in the top tier of receivers. Several experts are willing to argue that he is capable of being the best from this draft class. Seems pretty obvious to me why Dan Morgan drafted this guy.
