He is undersized…pass

Winning this game doesn’t hurt us if Seattle beats the Lions. We will stay at 6 if what I am seeing is correct… https://www.tankathon.com/nfl

I know he was very excited. Congrats

National media amplifying story of team dysfunction under Rhule
Shocker replied to BlitzMonster's topic in Carolina Panthers
Rhule… Also, if Tepper does in fact move on he should get some credit. Gotta get a pro coach in here next -
Revised… 1. Howell 2. Corral 3. Pickett 4. Strong 5. Willis
-
Putting together guys I thought would be great…but didn’t happen… Andre Wadsworth Ryan Leaf Dan Morgan Justin Blackmon Lawrence Phillips Ricky Williams Brian Bosworth And my favorite is Jeff George…the best arm football has ever seen

I have been tracking NFL Draft prospect since I was in college. I mean like every single thing you can track. Height, weight, speed…everything True story…right out of college I was hired by a consultant working for a large bank. Back then we all sat around trying to look like we cared. My boss also loved the draft. He came to me and asked me to build something that would tell us who would be the best player in the draft. Sounds crazy now but it happened I was green as grass but I took that on as a challenge. So…I build a database with every players stats and performance against like opponents Etc. All the important ones…and I capped it at 300 players. This was the 1998 draft and after all the stats and code it came up with a list… #1 best player in the draft was… Randy Moss Then… Ryan Leaf Charles Woodson Andre Wadsworth Peyton Manning and I will stop here…Keith Brooking Just pointing out the injuries, personality mean something I will add that my personal perspective probably played a role in the rankings.

Iron Saint in the house! lol Your boys better kick our ass come Sunday
-
Well the natural follow up question would be…who is your comparison for Willis? Why the confidence in putting him #1?
-
Sam Mills resume as a player is enough. As a person he should be get special consideration On another note…Cam Newton has to be squarely in the HOF. Keeping him out would be ridiculous with the records he has atp
-
Willis and Allen are apples and oranges. By physical upside I guess you mean athleticism but Allen has a cannon and size etc. Not seeing it as a comparison. Willis IMO will need a few years to develop but I don’t see it. He can’t be Lamar Jackson. Too small. I mean his awareness and ability to read a pro defense is a complete unknown. He isn’t a risk worth taking at all IMO. I mean at all in the draft. All these things will take shape as we get closer to the draft but I seriously think Howell could rise to #1 on the list. Its a bad list but the guy has something different
-
BTW…this Tennessee vs Purdue game is insanely good! Awesome
-
No concerns about Willis as a passer? Very interesting putting him up top
-
You have sold yourself on Willis…thats fine and some team will probably do the same. Will say this about Howell…he walked on campus and UNC overnight became a very dangerous offensive team. He did it over a few years too. There is something there and if he improves significantly he will put up crazy numbers.
-
For the Panthers I want a pure passer or something that looks like one. I mean Jake and Beuerlein are best we ever had as passers? Man No slight at all at Cam either. He is the best Panther ever for me but not a pure passer Pickett isn’t it for me. Is he as good as Goff? That is my comp but more like Gabbert.
-
LOL…yeah you are probably right there. Gotta be a better passer as I saw some really bad overthrows and such from him. Great athleticism but he is not Lamar Jackson.
-
He doesn’t have a great supporting cast and has carried the team all year. Much of the time behind multiple scores as well with a bad OL. Howell is very far from a great prospect but he could be good in a good situation. Could be said for any draft QBs. Zach Wilson would be the #1 pick by a mile in this draft and Jets fans want him gone already. The idea of staying away from this QB class altogether could be a good one I put some stock in Corral and Howell playing the bowl games and putting team first
-
Not as a passer for me. Willis is a faster PJ Walker. Not at all on his bandwagon. He played bad comp and we he did play good teams he struggled mightily. Your description fits Matt Corral for me. He is my top guy atp. Corral Howell Ridder Pickett Strong
-
We could pick Trevor Lawrence and he would struggle mightily here. Plain and simple we can’t be a consistent offense with this OL.
-
For perspective, and not that I always agree with him but Kiper said his top rated QB (Pickett) in this draft would have been the sixth rated guy against last years class behind Lawrence, Wilson, Jones, Lance and Fields. Totally agree there. I think Sam Howell will drop some due to his average measurables and stats this year but still believe he can play. LOL at the Lamar Jackson comp. Baker Mayfield is a better one. Of course he hasn’t been great so that’s concerning

“over” is the word man I will wait to make a list…Ridder vs Bama should be interesting
