Agree…Sam on the surface is a turnover machine. He also makes plays and is 24 years old. I hope he can get straight but behind this OL it isn’t happening this year. He obviously is missing that cerebral “it” feel for the position. I am never going to put the offensive problems squarely on him though. He isn’t the only problem with this offense

Take Trevor Lawrence for instance. We have the number one pick and he is our guy. You won’t find many guys more talented in the draft. Would he being doing better than Darnold? If you say yes, why? He isn’t doing it in Jax. He sucks and is terrible right? How about Wilson? How is he doing in NY?

Ok…so what would you have done at QB? Keep Teddy? Stick with PJ and Grier? Mr hindsight please tell me what you would have done? The people in charge made a decision that was a difficult decision and have to live with it. They don’t get to sit on the couch and dissect it all a year later.

So true and the most popular guy in town is the backup QB after a loss. Human nature. Sam can’t win here…he plays with a concussion lingering and plays bad he gets destroyed. He doesn’t play and he is weak. Tough stuff.

Naw man…this defense full strength is awesome. The staff knows defense. We are way behind with the offense and that includes Sam. Not all his fault by any damn stretch.

I mean…this NFL is about right and wrong calls. Personally I don't think Sam over Jones was a bad call. I wanted Fields but that thought is totally up in the air. He has been average so far. Personally think QB should be the target in the draft but that doesn’t fix this team as is…the rebuild is being stretched. If we draft QB no way of knowing if that will work. We need a better OC and someone that knows offensive talent.

Not really…Sam has made mistakes. Putting all on him is ridiculous IMO. Lots of problems on offense but Sam has played every game and deserves some credit for that.

Of course not…but we have to be realistic. Sam is really fuggin trying and a lot of this isn’t his fault. Win as a team… The OL has to be really depressed because they just aren’t good either.

Quick how many of you people have been hit by a 250 lb freight train trying to score a TD for your team and had a bad day after being in concussion protocol all week until right before kickoff? Then…get bullshet from the entire world. Sounds fun.

Come on man…you know he is under constant pressure. Like last week there are plays were he less than a second to react. He made mistakes but he isn’t sitting in a clean pocket throwing picks. I am not saying he is the answer at QB but damn the guy is in a bad situation here. This guy was coming off of a concussion and gets no leeway from the fans. None. I respect the guy for playing for christ sake.

This situation is 90% on Darnold…too funny A 24 year old guy has all this influence on an entire franchise

Sam definitely worked his ass off in the offseason and is total stand up guy. I have no problems with him as a leader and worker whatsoever. He has worked very hard but you cannot turn the ball over in this league. Narrow margins between winning and losing. If I were the coaches I would seriously tell him to keep slinging it and be a playmaker like he was the first 3 games. He honestly has nothing to lose at this point.

I disagree with Snow being head coach and getting rid of Fitty. Neither move makes sense. Again, the defense has been built in short order. We do need another offensive talent evaluator IMO.
