  1. still hate Fitt didn't grab the TE Washington and went with DJ Johnson. Washington man handles Nick Bosa
  2. essentially we gave up CMC, DJ, a future 1st, two 2nds, two 4ths......just to move up a couple draft spots in round 1 and 3. That's a pretty big gamble. And the history of giving up a lot isn't a good one.
  3. Bryce might need to learn....a punt sometimes is a good play. Otherwise it could lead to a bad day to have a bad day. I mean, oh wee mayne. It is what it is.
  4. Oh, I got you. I was thinking it was a 2nd deep throw I somehow missed in the 2nd half like the TMJ one was based on what some said.
  5. I didn't get to watch the full 2nd half. Where is the Mingo throw? I assume on the all Bryce throws video they accidently showed a run play in it's place?
  6. he didn't think it was coming....and you can see why. That didn't look to be part of the gameplan.
  7. and there were cameras all over the field pregame. Sanders son just selling nonsense about the disrespect on the field. and it's crazy how people just run with words. Matt Rhule doesn't need folks to make him look bad. He certainly doesn't need folks selling lies that might force someone to defend him. Because that sucks.
  8. Yeah, this is just team Sanders manufacturing motivation out of nothing. Matt Rhule was literally fanboying out all week about Sanders. I think the real mental gymnastics was over an old quote by Rhule. About how a lot of coaches were looking forward to the portal window and he was just looking forward to coaching his guys. Which is a nothing comment for a coach at a new school doing his best to keep whatever he has. Unless you are an uber sensitive Deion. Team Sanders is full of bolgona. And it's the 2nd week in a row they were selling BS postgame.
  9. There is no "learning from watching Dalton play". Dalton has been bad for years when called upon to actually play.
  10. True. A Kelce. A Tyreek Hill. But that's not DJ Chark. And those teams are loaded with speed that gets open. I mean Mahomes had a bad day...but it's not because his WRs couldn't get open. They were having different issues.
  11. winning games in 2023 is not important for Carolina, Houstin or Indy. Developing the QB is what matters at those 3 locations. The season is going to be judged by how the QB looks at the end of the year......not what the w/l column is.
  12. It's Brady-ish. I don't think coaches should worry about "fixing" stuff like that. You can ruin dudes tinkering with what got them to this level. It would be like trying to fix Phillip Rivers shotputting the ball. That's just what they are.
  13. I mean, but he is a gadget roleplayer. You can only go to that well so much. Plus, if you leave him out there to try to make it less obvious it becomes just a WR that runs bad routes and can't get separation. 2-3 touches is about what that type guy is supposed to do. The problem is elsehwere IMO.
  14. Shenault is a horrible route runner. They are doing great with him. All you can do is scheme plays up for him. He is a gadget roleplayer.
  15. I mean, Chark would help. But he isn't reliable to really count on. Just a bonus. and it's the modern day NFL. You can't really just have 1 person that can go vertical either. I mean, you aren't' going to have a roster of Tyreek Hills but most teams have more than one human that can challenge teams deep to an extent.
  16. I mean this section right here basically attempts to explain how we aren’t a rebuild by describing how we are a rebuild. 1. We traded away our 2 best offensive players in an offensive league for draft picks 2. We hired a brand new staff with new O and a new D scheme 3. We spent our resources on the #1 pick QB and planned to start him essentially before he stepped on a field 4. We got signed a bunch of bandaids all over the offense until we can actually bring in and build around Young. Probably the weakest skill talent around a QB in the NFL. but we didn’t literally trade every human of value. That doesn’t somehow void the reality of a rebuild. Literally all that young talent is on rookie deals. They aren’t on bad contracts yet. And they are clearly doing their best to not make Burns a bad one. this is a NFL rebuild. If it isn’t, NFL rebuilds don’t exists. Which if you don’t think a NFL team rebuilds that’s fine. But if they do, then we are one.

    Positives

Problem is Shenault is a bad WR. That happens to be really good with the ball in his hands. You can only scheme him up so much. But yeah, he might be the best on the team with the ball in his hands
  18. He said it’s not a rebuild because we have not won in a half decade and Fitt was supposed to be part of the Rhule era rebuild (which never was one). Was a clusterfug off nothing is instead. That’s lip service because of the the annoyed audience. all new coaches, all new schemes, rookie QB starting, traded away CMC and DJ Moore. That’s a rebuild. If it isn’t, rebuilds don’t exist.
  19. I don’t like what Fitt has done. Haven’t for a bit. But this is a rebuild. Next draft IMO should be like that first Dave one but offensive. Go draft some offensive skill guys. And then pay attention to free agents that might come up. But no letting Fitt mess with our assets. I think big picture he has done a very bad job with the management of our assets and trades. and I don’t get the CMC or DJ trade really. Should have just kept them both. If we were going to develop a #1 overall QB. Give up Derrick Brown and figure out something else to get Young. Just doesn’t seem worth it in the end what we did.
  20. Cam era was so good….people outside the Carolina’s actually cared.
  21. True. Cam era was the best we have ever seen. It was a fun time.
  22. I actually liked the fact Cam handled losing so poorly big picture. The game meant everything to young Cam. Most of the league is just business and paychecks in reality. and late in his career he eventually became largely a textbook podium guy. And that’s also when the magic was gone.
  23. Rhule never dips his toe in year 3 with a decently run org.
  24. Our playcalling and skill talent requires too much from a rookie QB. Requires him to play at a high level for success.
