  1. But it’s the risk reward of it. ACC/SEC got plenty to test themselves with on their schedule. Why waste a gimme game slot with a team that looks forwards to routinely upsetting big conference schools. And if you beat them, you aren’t really rewarded for that on the schedule.
  2. Said to my Gamecock buddies a couple years ago. I just don’t see why any ACC or SEC school schedules App St. The risk outweighs the reward.
  3. The grading of his game as a receiver is about the work he gets. You can grade high with low volume. He graded dead last in all the NFL amongest RBs. He also graded out really poorly with Wentz in 2020. He has the talent. Hope he does well. But people are saying he is good at something he hasn’t shown to be the last 3 years. And it was talked about in Philly coverage. Routes, hands, reliability. And even if you hate PFF, they never get it THAT wrong IMO. That the league worst is actually really good in their grading system. And I wish we added someone that was proven in that niche. All I care about is aiding Young.
  4. I love to pile on Rhule. But team Sanders just manifesting disrespect and doing it in the media. Manifesting is being nice. Not really a fan of how each week in the postgame they put out their fake creations publicly like that. 2nd week in a row. Make up your motivation and keep it behind closed doors. Because eventually it’s just lying. I mean, all Rhule’s words are in print. Cameras were their pregame. Nothing seen or heard. Unless everyone has sat on everything….which just doesn’t happen in todays world.
  5. Rhule was praising Sanders all week. Deion just manufacturing stuff to feed his team IMO.
  6. last week Sanders called out Ed Werder post game for “not believing” and that he had read his articles. Do you believe now!! reality was that he doesn’t even cover college football nor wrote anything. Sanders just creating that.
  7. He isn’t home grown talent. It’s the NFL. You don’t just pay guys whatever they demand because you drafted them. What you pay matters in a cap driven league. It’s dictates how much talent you end up being able to put on the field.
  8. It sounds like Burns doing everything you would want him to do and could ask of him. I still don’t think he plays unless ink is on paper. But he doesn’t seem like the to abandon his leadership role just because business is business
  9. You talk to Burns before you turn that trade down….and if the Bosa deal was something he and his team were going to wait on you trade him. Because he ain’t Bosa.
  10. Very little thrown at Burns. Outside of just acknowledging he isn’t a Bosa/Mack level edge player and is more a pure pass rusher…..and people choosing to claim that is dissing Burns. almost all the talk is on Fitt and the Panther front office in reality for handling everything so poorly and having us here
  11. Yep, just isn’t debatable. Fitt has the Panthers in a horrible position on this Burns deal.
  12. I mean, just highlights how impactful a QB is. Cade gave them 14 points. But this is 3 years of it. Every game is trying to pull off a win with the QB working against them. I mean, it’s the coaching/scheme/QB. But it’s hard to win football games against any team on any level with a QB that isn’t doing basics and imploding.
  13. It’s not negative. It’s just football talk. You have proven time and time again you are too emotionally invested in all things Panther IMO. I’m not. They just give me something to bullshit about.
  14. No one will freak if Fitt does a good contract. They would celebrate it. But Fitt worked himself into a bad negotiating corner. Because we have a bad front office.
  15. There is just a reality. Justin Jefferson and DJ Moore are in different tiers. That doesn’t Moore isn’t a 1 or great. Brian Burns is in a different tier than Bosa. Just like Chubb is. Or Reddick is. And the contracts do and should reflect it. Which is that guaranteed money and that gigantic gap isn’t just creative contract wording.
  16. 5? Jay Z was working at McDonalds probably 5 years in to the plan. Takes 7 years. Everyone knows that.
  17. Basically. Now that will hurt QB recruiting. Dabo has taken 2 consecutive #1 overall recruits in the nation and has them looking like middle schoolers. Dabo going to have to do some real work this season to fix that narrative from setting in. He has time but that’s a legit worry and future impact.
  18. Clemson QB just threw a pick 6. Down now lol. just bench Cade. Young kid is shook. He ain’t got it. Not fair to the rest of the players. You could play without a QB and have a winning record.
  19. Clemson QB fumbles and the Mighty Charleston Southern returns it to the 1. Ties up Clemson 7-7. Maybe Clemson and Nebraska should play
  20. Guaranteed money Reddick 30M, Von Miller 51M, Chubb 53M (all recent deals) Bosa 122M Bosa has a vastly different contract. It’s on a different planet in terms of money . Because he isn’t just a pass rusher.
  21. lol, what are you even talking about Prior contracts are always relevant. They just factored into Bosa’s new deal. It’s how they got to that number. For Bosa….his brother Bosa, Mack and Garrett contracts all played into what his deal ended up being. His had to top theirs and did. I came at your with actual numbers. Guaranteed money of Von, Chubb, Reddick, etc and the VAST difference of that and Bosa. That’s why there is no deal. That’s not a 3 million difference. It’s 60+. And that’s why there is no deal yet.
  22. Best coach on those teams was Phil Snow. I wouldn’t have hired Rhule without him coming.
  23. I know the guaranteed money Chubb, Von Miller, Reddick etc just got. I know the money Bosa just got. thats a 60+ million difference in guaranteed money from Bosa and those guys. Guaranteed is what matters most and you ain’t even talking that lol. That’s what matters most. And that the primary discussion in most big deals.
