  1. Best to just forget about Brooks IMO. At least in terms of real planning. If we get something out of the pick at this point it’s a nice surprise. No way you can pencil him in as anything
  2. haven’t listened to it yet….but an hour of 89 shooting the breeze I’m sure has something interesting in it
  3. The rankings is through week 11 though. Not week 11. PFF always outs itself as overall utter nonsense when you start putting their graded players beside other graded players.
  4. If you pick the right games, you could take 3 of those GWDs and add up all the Bryce contributions together….and you could get a total of just 1 pass where he threw it 5 yards downfield. if you watched those games, the final drive was “won” by guys that weren’t the QB most isolated singular stats are largely garbage. It would be like looking at QB INTs and then thinking if a guy has 5 INTs he has made less dumb throws than the guy with 8 INTs. Maybe the dude with 8 had WRs tip up a lot good passes and had a couple Hail Marys going into half….
  5. Bryce Young to me doesn't pass the eye test of clutch. To me, big moments are all over the map and game. Biggest play in the game could be in the 3rd quarter for example. Bryce is bad in a lot of really big moments in games.
  6. You could ask on being "clutch".....is how many times does a GWD scenario present itself and you pull it off is required to actually be deemed clutch.
  7. not just poo play to start the season. Bryce has been poo almost this entire season. I mean, if Bryce doesn't comeback out of the lockerroom on Sunday.....I think the Panthers were going to bench him. I just don't see how they could of trotted him back out there. Because it would been another disaster on top of a bunch of recent bad play.
  8. I mean, that's wild stuff. Winning because of Bryce? Atlanta - We won because of defense. Miami - We won because of Rico Dallas - We won because of Rico Jets - We won because of defense. Packers - We won because of defense. 2nd Atlanta game? Sure, Bryce was a big part of that one game. *then the flip side, there are zero losses where you can be like, well Bryce played great and good enough to win but (insert whoever) screwed it up.
  9. I mean, in a fair world, the dude you carry off the field for the GWD this past weekend.....is Tommy Tremble. He took basically a nothing wide open check down pass and made the huge play all on his own. I mean, if you are choosing to pin the final drive to win the game on a singular player. but instead, Bryce gets 18 GWD threads this week lol.
  10. everything is about matchups and who you are playing. I do think it's the worst matchup for our D on the year. and Bryce Young outdoors and on the road......is generally not good for the pass game. He has 2 games this season over 200 yards and they were both in domes.
  11. Carolina's pass attack on the season has largely been pretty consistent IMO. You basically have 3 pretty much random 2nd halves were the pass game got ramped up outside the norm. I think the real steady improvement you can see in Carolina is the defense.
  12. We just got embarrassed be the Saints the week before Atlanta….
  13. Remember in 2003 when Jon Kasay was championed for all those big game kicks? does Bryce in some of those few games deserve some credit? Sure. Some he didn’t even complete a pass in though. and of course, Bryce should get recognized for being a key factor in why we are so consistently trailing in games. Without looking, he is easily the worst QB in the NFL in the first half
  14. Oh, the answer is zero guys listed. Celebrate him having an abnormal 2nd half. I’m cool with that. But that’s not what this thread is and people have been pimping this GWD thing for weeks. Like I said, it’s this years version of best PFF deep passer. Andy Dalton has played every year the past 10 seasons and never posted a winning record in any of them. He is beyond washed. The QB depth is intentionally pathetic. There is a reason Jack freaking Plummer was asked to play in the preseason as well. It’s takes great effort to be as weak as we make it behind Bryce. We live in a world where if we even put a decent XFL QB behind Bryce it would be an immediate problem in Carolina for the staff
  15. 87% of the time when a Bryce Young team take the field…..they are losing at the half. How many of those dudes listed you think lived in a similar world as that. There is a reason almost every Panther win gets logged as a GWD. Dude only has 12 wins to his name. 2025, it’s GWD. Last year it was PFF best deep passer week X off a single completion. Both boasts really aren’t what they appear
  16. 2 of them don’t feature Bryce even attempting a pass on the “GWD”
  17. They got CMC and Kittle so I think they got the weapons to really make life hard on our defense given they can pick on our weakness. I expect a standard first half. Panthers would be lucky to score a TD. They have not scored more than one TD in the opening half all season. SF gets up to a nice lead at half. then it can go two ways. It gets really ugly. We have seen that. Or Carolina is allowed back in to the game. We have seen that.
  18. Strong odds that at seasons end, at the conclusion of year 3 and 44 NFL starts…… Bryce Young will have 2 wins vs teams that finished their season with a winning record. We aren’t stuck. Being this irrelevant is a choice.
  19. Bryce Young has gone into the 4th quarter losing….basically his entire career. 3 seasons of this. 38 game stretch. in no way shape or form, does that sync up with a season of the 03 Cardiac Cats. And weren’t trailing going into the 4th in all those games lol. We played in 4 OT games that year for example, we were winning going into the 4th in 3 of the 4. Jake didn’t have us sucking every game so that every game of his existence presented such a technicality. Nor was anyone crediting Jake Delhomme as the king of GWDs. The team was credited for winning tightly contested games. It’s why it was not Comeback Jake but the Cardiac Cats
  20. Bryce Young uniquely has his team trailing every single game in the 4th quarter. So he operates basically with a 100% opportunity every single week lol. That’s a stat someone should share. No QB in the NFL history likely has trailed in the 4th for as many games to open a career
  21. You basically can separate Bryce Young in the NFL and Bryce Young vs Atlanta…..and the question on him undoubtedly answered. Atlanta basically makes for a nice quirky trivia question years down the road
  22. The huddle consistently lets one week or outliers drastically change positions any given week. Derek Brown could have a really bad day and folks would come for him lol
  23. Surprisingly though guys: Bryce Young Jimmy Clausen
