I think about the only thing you can do is when they go empty in some of those heavy WR sets.....trot him out there for those looks and run a crosser for him and give him a shot if he has room to run. I mean if we are attempting to set him up for success. Dude is just so small and inexperienced. You can't have scenarios where he could be forced into run blocking and he most definitely isn't ready for life on the outside. I was hoping we could phase him in w/ Renfrow late this year but it doesn't look like Canales can adapt his O to that type of slot WR (and Bryce does struggle w/ throws to small guys it appears). I think odds are Jimmy would deal w/ a bad ball worse than Renfrow, just in terms of personal safety.

Renfrow better have a long talk with his fellow tiny WR friend Jimmy..... about protecting himself and hosptial balls at this level. Renfrow is bigger than Horn. 2 inches and 10 pounds on him. Bryce really struggles w/ the small WR type.

Bryce is what you call reliable ass. Generally each game you know he is going to be ass. To get a win you need great days from other units. ST at his point, just had a bad day. Which happens. Bryce obviously isn't responsible for the errors of others. But he can be part of putting folks in tough spots given the game. but yes, Bryce Young is 100% the biggest issue in Carolina. It's a QB league. When your QB stinks, it has a negative impact on virtually every aspect of football.

RPO IMO doesn't suit Bryce at this level because of his size. He is too close to the line trying while trying to make the reads on that.

I think the front office would have issues if they were hired. And I think the D would be better. They would be more aggressive. offense? everyone going to have a BY issue that isn't some scheme wiz like a Shanahan. He could improve the O.

I can only recall one that I would deem a throw away. The air mailed one to Renfrow to the sideline. But it's hard to say because Bryce can't throw his direction at all. But I'd still give him that one as a throwaway. That's it.

The offense is supposed to score points. If all you do is take up clock while the other team scores.....then you are just playing into a bend but don't defensive effort by your opponent. And you get smashed. Like we did.

his unit has technically got us our only win on the season. It's actually not the easiest sell if your are the Panthers given our O likely is slightly worse than our D.

All the Phins have to do is attack the interior/middle of the field and there is no way we can keep pace w/ them. we can't really keep up with any offense.

Been saying these things since day 1. They hit all the points. 1. Bryce doesn't fit these offenses. Not Frank's nor Canales'. He isn't a fit. (my whole square pegs and round holes mantra) 2. Dave's offense is suited for a gunslinger type. They referenced Dave's previous employment in Seattle and Tampa paired w/ gunslingers. 3. Bryce Young is a really bad QB beyond 10 yards. 4. Got to admit Bryce Young lacks the physical tools and it causes problems. 5. It's evident in the situational play calling and in general they don't actual trust Bryce (and you got 2 coaching staffs in a row essentially saying all the same things about Bryce). so add these guys to the irrational haters club. Because they put all the greatest hits into one podcast.

One unit, has had all of our resources dumped into it the last several years as the expense of having a well built team. That’s our offense. the offense is also the one unit that has been bad every single game so yeah, it’s Bryce. it’s why I barely talk about the D because it literally by design supposed to be what is weak on the team right now. If we spent our last 4 first round picks on the D and went into FA to form the most expensive DL in the NFL…..I might concede they are the problem.

It’s how certain QBs get chances after flopping. which again, brings us to Bryce who is unicorn it terms of physical tools. He doesn’t have them. And has never been special through the bad And we can go to the Jets and Browns for their flashes boss. It’s you that wanted to erase that from existence and talk Carolina. Bryce has one anomaly games to his 3 year career. Week 18. He wasn’t good during his “comeback”. He just wasn’t a nightmare.
