  1. was curious so I looked. NFL history. 6 corners draft in the top 5 in NFL history. Never one drafted in the top 3.
  2. That's a solid point. But I also wonder, if the league is collectively low balling us and taking that stance given we are pretty well established bad deal makers.
  3. Tomlin don't like the bologna. And I think it's clear, Johnson was doing things that wouldn't please his coaches in Pitt. Effort and complaints. But his teammates could of still liked him.
  4. maybe he is generally a good teammate and liked.....maybe Canales couldn't handle him. That IMO seems like a reasonable assumption. Think Sheena or someone basically hinted at that too. His issues in Pitt seemed to of also been more Tomlin related than pure teammate related. and on top of that, rookie HCs sometimes are weird as they try to learn and build there own. I'm 100000% convinced that is why Cam Newton had to go when Rhule came here. Rhule was such a buffoon and ignorant....he didn't want to deal w/ a loud vocal vet who knew stuff. Dionate came from one of the best orgs in all of football. Maybe Canales didn't like his straight talk about there being some issues that he couldn't fix. He can only play WR. Maybe Canales only wants bologna sunshine guys.
  5. when he drafted Bryce.....the trenches were meh and the skill talent was meh. So, his bad rookie QB ended up in a bad spot....weak OL play, WRs that couldn't get open on their own, and a D that couldn't do basics like stop the run. not sure what he got done right before he made the Bryce mistake.
  6. we are best at tanking when not trying to tank. When we don't try to tank, we tank pretty well. the one time we actually 100% tried to tank.....we played better (fired Rhule and insta-traded CMC). That was Tepper/front office 100% believing they would lose out. They failed to realize just how much of it was Rhule when Wilks stepped in and played some 1960s football and that alone was a 180
  7. Saints really have had his number since getting eyes on him. We all remember last matchup. 43% comp for 161 yards, 2 INT, 4 sacks but the meetup before that.... 36% comp for 136 yards, FL, 4 sacks.
  8. still a LONG time since he has played football. None at NFL speed. I still wouldn't rush him into a NFL pounding. I'd probably prefer him see a couple full weeks of practice first.
  9. it would take drafting Sheduer Sanders or something like that. Or acquiring a spotlight player IMO in terms of the near future.
  10. What information makes you believe that Mr. Monday Meeting has "stepped back".
  11. 3 of the 4 top graded players that game were all interior lineman. LG, C, RG. The OL hasn't been the issue when the Panthers have been horrific on O......and that's been every game but 1.
  12. we have been tanking since 2020
  13. Give me Ward. Sanders is going to come w/ Sanders drama. We probably end up looking like chumps and are forced to trade him for some random we didn't really want and are forced into
  14. PJ Walker is a family man! He buys his crab legs from the store like the rest of us! PJ Walker 2025 MCOA!!!! Make Carolina Okayish Again!!!!
  15. you know, I frankly forgot all about that. NFL is good at making you forget certain things in time. Never mind my Winston post. Tripling down on my PJ Walker post.
  16. Andy Dalton resume of mentoring young QBs..... Justin Fields and Bryce Young. Maybe he's not that guy.
  17. Let's be real, only one QB has found a way to win in the Tepper era. I repeat. Only 1 QB has managed a winning record in Carolina. PJ WALKER!!!!! Bring the man home!
  18. Winston at least would be entertaining. I would rather go down in flaming blaze of glory throwing for 400 yards, 4 TDs and 6 INTs than lose how we have lost the last half decade.
  19. As of today? Heck no. He is playing just as bad as Bryce of late
  20. We have other worst roster in the NFL on D. we haven’t seen enough from Canales to let him draft a QB #1 overall only for that dude to then be forced onto the next HC.
  21. We have the most expensive OL in all the NFL…. that’s how he fixed it. It wasn’t savvy and good GMing.
  22. Morgan has been GM or Asst GM since 2021…. His record speaks for itself
  23. Morgan the player is his own entity. I want no part of the Seattle bros and we did was double down on it this year in reality despite Fitt leaving
  24. We literally hired Scott Fitterer’s right hand man… It’s going how it should go
