From the postgame…it sounds like we didn’t get to see a lot of it. Got out to such a big lead but Rhule said they had a lot Of deep play action put in. But they just got up so quick they couldn’t really get to it

I think there is a chance dual QBs might make sense for one more week. Cam still has a lot to learn so it just depends on where he is at. I won’t be upset if they still keep PJ mixed in one more week…. but this will be Cam’s team down the stretch

That was a top NFL defense. Our defense has balled out similarly early in games….the problem was Sam was on the field to implode our chances with a Jimmy Clausen death touch to the O.

The win coming was obvious. Maybe what wasn’t obvious…PJ has completed a minimum of 70% of his passes in all his starts. This time vs the #4 D. Who I assume are better than the Lions. PJ Walker is better than Sam Darnold. Time for the Sam squad to put some respect on PJ’s name. Yes, he isn’t great. That’s not the point. Better than Sam can be found in the XFL. Former XFL QBs took down AZ and Tampa today. And we gave up 3 picks for Sam lol

Also, the Cardinals are the #4 defense in the NFL. This isn’t the Jets. Got to keep that in mind when people nitpick the play of a backup QB.

We have 2 confident QBs playing today.

Connor isn’t a beast. He is having a decent season. Had one great random game. He is in AZ because he isn’t a beast. And he largely plays second fiddle to Edmonds and vultures TDs. Too much stock in one game where where so many new guys were on the field. NFL is all about game tape. McCoy had 63 QBR for a reason too. He wasn’t out there doing a lot despite that completion percentage. D should be able to feast if Kyler and Nuk are out But it is worth noting that PJ will be facing a much tougher test today than Sam had all year.

NFL is notorious for doubling down on clear mistakes. It’s like that Bears player that was hip checked by the ref. He got a fine.

I don’t think it is a poo team. We have had the NFL worst QB imploding us. we have the #2 D in the NFL right now. That gift wrapped a bunch a games for us and we still gave it away. Largely because Sam couldn’t do basics the last 5 weeks.

If Cam is simply 2020 Cam. That is a good pairing with this D and team.

I remember Sam clausening our team the last 5 weeks. Say what you want about PJ. Clausening ain't his game. Rule out the the chance of the upset if you like. But not this guy. Not on the week we saw Cam Newton return.

to my knowledge, Murray and Nuk have been out all week. They both missed last week's game. That's why we have a shot at the upset.

Not turning the ball over. Some average offense. With the AZ injuries pending no surprises the D should be able to take it to that O. If we can control PJ's aggressive throws. I think we have a shot. And I still think he should take some shots. But where you greenlight that matters.

PJ is simply easier and more fun to root for than a Sam or even a Will Grier. Think @Mage sums the why part up perfectly above. Hoping whatever has to happen does....so that I can show up and give you all the Lavar Ball gif you deserve late Sunday.
