He doesn’t have an arm. We know that. His 3 big passes were basically tosses to wide open dudes. I mean props for him making them. But this is why people are seen as Bryce haters. Because whatever he does gets exaggerated

Jets D stinks. Jets are also a garbage time team. Which means their pass D benefits from teams wanting to work clock on them.
-
Thats problematic though, we did that last year.

It was another 200+ RB day. Dominant rushing day. Thats easy living for a QB. He was fine today I’ll sing his praises when he can keep us in a game when the run he isn’t there, let alone dominant rush attack.

I think your boy scored this time but overall that was pretty much last week on repeat

Official Week 6: Cowboys @ Panthers Gameday Thread
CRA replied to rodeo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Eventually we might need to have the convo about who the starting RB should be and if Rico should be the 1a -

I don’t know. Rico got some weird body language as XL is getting tackled. He sure looked ready for something to happen. Wonder if it was a trick play and XL went ahead and did the lateral even though he wasn’t able to get the YAC to make the correct pitch -
Bryce been in the league going on 3 years…..and you can’t find two games where he has impressed more than Dart tonight. Truth is truth

2 podcasts questioning Young. Cant keep winning in spite of him
CRA replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well, dead last because of their pass defense. Without the gimme yards of the AZ game we would probably rank 31st in passing. so in a shootout environment, our O is most defiantly going to be tested -

Not sure Pickens is a great play but anyone that attacks the middle of our D is a fantastic pick in fantasy. -

Dallas has the #1 offense and #4 in points. The game with Dallas is to outscore them. I don’t see us being able to compete in such a contest. -
I mean if Rico Dowdle runs for 200+ yards and our D holds the opponent to less than 20 yards rushing....he might not need to make "clutch throws". But that also isn't' likely to ever happen again.....ever in his career. every Panther win thus far was pretty much been an anomaly that went our way that can't be replicated most Sundays. Career worst QB implosion type play or mindboggling rushing playing out on both ends.

XL isn’t QB friendly for Bryce. Conceded that when we drafted him and noted he only made sense if we were moving on from Bryce. He was a raw WR for the Canales offensive tree. And Bryce is not a QB for that tree. but it always brings us back to Bryce. Round peg. Square hole. they drafted an anomoly at QB that would only have a chance at being good in a unicorn offense. We are wasting our time. I advocated we should give it a go. We didn’t. So we should move on from him.

We went out and bought the most expensive OL in the NFL for him We paid 2 1k rushers in the backfield sure, we didn’t go out in FA to once again give him basically the complete perfect cast in FA a 3rd freaking time. We got a team to build and literally every resource can’t be devoted to Bryce. But most of our best draft collateral has been devoted to Bryce. the entire argument of drafting him is that we wouldn’t be doing what we are doing. the spending isn’t misleading. The investment needed around him has been off the charts overall and he still is Clausen-ish.
-
Again, most expensive OL in the NFL. 2 1000 yard RBs. And a ton of young investments of every shape and size at WR/TE. In no football conversation would anyone describe that as a terrible situation…..you would only find it being argued in a crazy Bryce Young defense thread. BY makes no one better. He makes them worse and life harder for all. and you can go find XL threads before we drafted him….and it was talked about how he only made sense if we were moving on from BY because BY wouldn’t be able to do diddly with that type raw talent. It wasn’t a pairing. BY needs a 100 TMacs to make something out Bryce chickenshit balls. You want it the other way around. A QB that lifts all boats. Not the boats pulling the QB along
-
In his 3rd year as a starter in SD he was a Pro Bowl QB in the playoffs….with 27 TD to 7 INTs. Bryce isn’t on that arc Using his year 1 where he didn’t start a single game and only appeared in 1 game in relief isn’t where you start the clock on a Brees comparison if you go by starts and reps, Brees at this point was on another planet from Bryce. This Brees comparison attempt is as silly as the Cam silliness

AT basically strong armed his way out of here

going into the season, I always said Jake Delhomme fits Canales better than any QB we have had here. Not that Jake's arm was great but Jake was willing to push the envelope downfield to open up the offense. The entire league has been sitting on our offense since Bryce arrived (Frank's and Canales).....and it makes football super hard. Small ball gets harder. Running gets harder.
-
We have had WRs open all year thus far. Bryce Young has missed them. That could change against some better teams later but to date, not getting open isn't our problem. It's the QB accurately putting the balls on people that is the issue. But I do agree Canales scheme doesn't fit a Renfrow and really won't fit Horn either. Coker probably fits the slot in Canales' scheme.
-
this remains a foolish wish, to try to wish the Bryce haters and the Cam haters into the same group. The micro example you have here on the board shows you they are not the same group. Same group that hated Jimmy Clausen hates Bryce would be the more accurate example.

I asked for the stats last year of his plays 20+ yards. I don't want ratings or video clips. What was the actual statistical outcome when he went 20+ yards last year when he was a "good deep ball passer". As I keep saying, eventually you can't run from that reality with subjective ratings on hypothetical what ifs or cherry picked video.
