What QBs threaten downfield less than Bryce Young? If there is one, it's got to be some weird cherry pick that doesn't compare to BY. Like the Eagles hammering the ball on the ground and playing D.

I'm assuming the thought is bring in a vet for short term stability. Find a youngster that you aren't forced to start week 1. So yeah, Wilson basically repeating what he is doing right now.

what could be realistic? I mean, I don't want it to happen at all and I would be totally against it.... but Russell Wilson has high odds of being available. Giants just renting him for a year. He is THE Seattle QB. He would check a lot of the boxes. He is doing it right now for NY and obviously the Canales/Seattle connection.

Atlanta has the #2 D and the #10 O after 2 games. Now, I'm not saying that is actually an accurate representation of them this early BUT it's hard to argue a bad team (like we are an actually bad team) could would be able to appear as such after 2 games no matter the competition.

Bryce really doesn't throw go balls. He throws sideline fades or underthrows.

I mean, it's an old school offense in reality. You got to find players to make plays. The O isn't just going to create it with just anyone. I didn't say we needed a game breaking WR. We literally just need players that can push and hope to create some YAC because Bryce isn't' going to stress a D deep enough (which has fugged up the O every season he has played including Franks) AT and Renfrow included don't offer YAC at the slot. That's not what either are. Slot is the easiest place to get some. Obviously, I don't want my dude Renfrow benched. He has a purpose. But the Panthers need to start searching for solutions. We got zero real quickness on the field. And hell, I don't even know if Horn really offers it because the Panther preseasons tell you virtually nothing about dudes

Panthers desperately need someone they can rotate in that got real speed to hopefully turn some underneath stuff into bigger plays. Renfrow is great but he is just a chain mover. I do wish they would try to turn the slot into a 2 man show. Get Horn up for some light passing down work. But I get that's a lot of small bodies to have active game day that only do slot work.

in fairness, Saunders didn't block his guy on the handoff and Bryce didn't sell the quick screen at all. The one DE you are supposed to fool immediately sprints to attack XL.

I wish I could find that clip of Dave talking about himself. Dave isn't going to scheme up wins. It's going to be about the players in his O. Which just makes that QB spot so dang important. but yeah, you got to get DBs thinking we can attack beyond 10-15ish yards on a play...if not, secondaries just cheat responsibilities. If I had to guess/predict the most likely next Bryce INT? It's a safety making a play on a ball in front of him.
