Ah man Tyreke Hill
-
What the heck is the end of this first half... These teams both look atrocious
-
If the Jets just stick to their ground game they could hang 40 on us, lol
-
Im pretty sure the top of the front office felt the end of last season meant Bryce had arrived. I wish we'd picked up a younger, competent backup option...
-
See, I knew when we finally took another QB first overall, they'd also make history!
-
So basically Bryce is missing guys left right and center because the OL has injuries. Got it. That's why he played so well in previous week's and this was really his first bad game! Or, is this just 2025 Bryce? It looks a lot like early 2024 Bryce and 2023 Bryce. Maybe late 2024 Bryce was the anomaly.

These guys nail the basics on Bryce/Canales/Carolina
mav1234 replied to CRA's topic in Carolina Panthers
No? There's no rule for that, just what some fans want. And we probably start trading assets if we hit the trade deadline with one win anyway. It's more about if the team can improve in the next few weeks. Evero is clearly the "HC" of the defense. He and Canales clearly disagree on who should play. Evero still being DC, and who he is playing, is an indication that Canales doesn't have control of the team. Bryce is IMO a separate situation. Dude just doesn't have it. -

I think everyone knows the HC is only the HC on one side of the ball. This is a huge problem, compounded by the fact that side of the ball he does have is hugely limited. Fire Evero. Drump Bryce. Let Canales have the rest of the season. -
Really terrible decisions by Love to end that game tbh
-
Wtf Love... nearly threw that game away
-
He should have made it tbh.
-
There is literally no way Bryce could have thrown that ball. And that isn't meant to be shade at all.
-
Man, it has looked like these packer linemen are being held every other play...
-
insane, that receiver plucked it from out of bounds practically. Dak threw that like 50 yards down field while falling backwards, lol
-
I would like to see Canales for the start of a season with a new QB room. I don't know if the decision was made above his head or what, but I'd like to see what he can do with someone of his choosing. edit: pending the rest of the year, lol. I don't care about losses anymore but I want to see the offense improve.
-
Dak is probably not worth his contract, but he is a good QB overall and good enough for a decent team to at least get to the playoffs with.
-
Let's not pretend we didn't have an extremely potent running game at the end of last year, too. Chuba sat the last two games of the season but had 1200 yards last year and the only games we won with Bryce where Chuba averaged approx 5 YPC or more, other than Atlanta. Atlanta is why I thought Bryce turned a corner. But... nope And meh, DJ is great for YAC, but Tet has more YPC and more total yards than DJ. And, at least before today, Tet even had more YAC than DJ (and more YAC/R).

https://x.com/michaelfhurley/status/1972439281735229452?s=46 It's sad but this throw encompasses so much of the Bryce era as a Panther IMO (credit to ProcessBlue2 for the twitter find).
-
that fourth down throw (second link)...
-
He wasn't as bad, no. He wasn't good, he was missing open receivers, overthrowing or just not seeing them. On a 4th down play he threw a ball into the ground while missing a wide open Chuba. The fact Dalton came in and had 10 ypa probably makes him look even worse.
-
I admit I thought he'd turned the corner at the end of last year. But the start of this year... and then the start of the Arizona game... Just felt like he can't do it when the pressure is on.
-
so depressing, ugh. I am quite surprised that those completion percentages and passer ratings are last.
-
where'd you find this compilation?
-
we always need to subset things to a handful of games with Bryce Young because of *how bad* things are when you consider the whole. If Bryce had come out this season keeping pace with last year... okay fine... but he hasn't... But anyway, the 2022 Panthers offense averaged 23 ppg with Darnold, and he didn't have a better supporting cast at that point in time IMO. I'd take TMac all day over DJ, and that's no slight on Moore, he is a great receiver. Either way we're comparing Young to another meh veteran.

Chicago blocks a kick to win the game, damn
