  1. The wasted draft capital is just another exapmle of why not to trust anyone in that room at the time. I got to be honest, I have such a low opinion of this crew now that Fields could have been a wasted pick for us. These guys could have ruined him in a year here. Not because it would have been a bad pick, just because the coaching, especially on the offense, has been soooooo bad this year.
  2. You are 100% right but Tepper is here for better or worse. He kept Hurney and his 'experience' has led us to a spot where we have another crappy GM and an even worse HC than Rivera, certainly less experienced when hired. All I can hope from Tepper is that this giant failure has taught him something or this team is fugged for a long time. But absolutely fug Tepper for being a complete idiot and relying on that moron to hire other morons who then hired more morons.
  3. Yall arguing over who's dookie flavored lollipop is the best? Just tale the cheaper option. Hell, Rhule stays we are drafting a dud because that's what he likes. If he is gone then it's whoever our Rhule quality GM picks, which will be a CB. We should have 100% traded for that guy over Darnold but that's really easy to say due to how bad he is and how awful that trade was. Either way, we would still be looking for a QB this offseason and probably next given the level of competence with most of this crew.
  4. We just saw who was next after firing the OC, we going to promote that guy again if we fire Rhule? The fact we haven't started cleaning thr front office up tells me all I need to know about whatever 2.0 we got headed our way next year. Like a chain of overpromoted dog crap. Fug you Hurney, this abomination is your unfortunately lasting parting gift.
  5. After a year and a half as an NFL OC, he could easily step into a college OC. Maybe not an all world one but good enough for college level. I have no fugging idea how we hired him with zero OC and playcalling experience. Just another example to add to the reasons why Rhule never made it to his 3rd year in a couple of games. Why hire a college coach if they haven't actually done the job before at an easier level? Just a big ol' horseshit pie.
  6. This is what doubling down looks like? Keep it up Rhule, can't wait for you to be fired.
  7. Huge positive for us. We need it. Looks like Riddicks new contract.
  8. With out a doubt but his ego would be feeling it.
  9. I guess we dont have an easy route but the idea Rhule could still get fired for poor performance and have all the good options off the table is very fitting considering how Cam's release was handled.
  10. We won't know 100% where the responsibilities of so many failures fall but it can be best summed up by Tepper hiring bad hires, who made so many bad decisions while coaching poorly and players performing at a low level on the field. Much more bad than good. There is no one personnel move that fixes the fact this crew is just bad at NFL football and that falls on Tepper for hiring these people.
  11. We need to part with some wasted cap first. I haven't looked at the numbers but we will be dumping some dead weight to get that 30 million higher. No idea who but depending on who is here and in charge will set that pace. No Armstred, his injury history is just a repeat of the last 2 guys we brought in. Great value in the 3rd but he isn't healthy enough to rely on any more. Getting just adequate help would be such an improvement, that and healthy.
  12. We had a couple of of big (by then's standards lol) disappointments. We drafted Gross and Kalil which is top shelf. Then we had some reaches on OGs and also wasted players like Mathis which played poorly here due to scheme and misuse but flourished elsewhere. If I remember correctly, it was just Fox having no idea how offenses work when he put personnel together with scheme. Otah was a giant fat guy who played well for one year, which was a miracle given his health and weight. I swear there was more but I just can't remember them all. A giant FA implosion. Either way, the 2 big hits made it look like the land of dreams compared to now.
  13. Which would again fall on Tepper for being an tool. I can see that happening.
  14. Greatest coach, not greatest GM. That's where they have struggled. Also, Fields was gone off the board so we will never know if Bill would have gone with him.
  15. They obviously can't identify talent or how to use it. It's pathetic that Daley is playing LT and isn't the worst out-of-position Olineman.
  16. Lol. Fitts is such a weak GM candidate but it was all Rhule according to some. Go look at some of the people we looked at when Hurney was here, then when we were looking for a GM to be under Rhule and then at some of the options if none of those blunders had happened...Fitts is part of the problem. Another weak hire to go with the rest of the weak hires since the '5 year plan' was announced. We hired a longtime 'good working friend' out of an organization that can't win with a franchise QB this year because they made such bad personnel and draft choices in the last 5 years. All of this is Tepper's fault for not firing Hurney with Ron and hiring someone competent, leading to a chain of incompetence we are seeing organizationally wide ATM.
  17. One of the biggest issues isn't what w lost but what stayed. Hurney built a horrific front office for Rhule, which is also how we stepped in that pile and contract. We should have lost more honestly, we could be a lit better off or just a different mess. But at least it wouldn't be this garbage of staff almost throughout.
  18. There is just no indication we will see 'sh%t together' in Pantherland with a bad front office and bad coaching staff anytime soon. Almost everyone needs to be tossed out except Dan and Sulliman as far as I can tell. Hurney built this house and it is Dookiebread almost completely. Burn it down. I have no idea about the future of the Saints but at this time with these people in the building, I'm not betting on the Panthers. It's bad here and just blaming Rhule misses the pack of incompetence hiding behind him. Fugem all at this point.
  19. One positive I can say about this crew is that they shattered the Rivera myth that CBs are hard to find. We have found them everywhere from a top 10 pick to that same value in the 3rd or 6th next year. CBs are out there, we just used to not have a clue what we were looking for. And yes, the Horn pick was bad value. QBs and LTs are immensely harder to find and cost a lot more to aquire than CBs.
  20. I don't know who helped with those values but Slater is a MF beast. How we didn't have him higher is a huge issue going into next year. No way are our oline values are correct. I also wonder if this is how this played in to a WR in the second with all those guys on the board. I know Brady liked him but if we had those olinemen higher it should have been harder to make that pick. Not good but a great point.
