It’s nearly impossible to upgrade everyone in one year. These young players need some time with real coaching. Looking at our offense Sanders had his worst year, Chark did as well, so did Hurst, our OL regressed, and Young played well below expectations. I’m basically treating any offensive rookie last year like a rookie this year. AT and Chuba looked decent in that awful offense but everyone else was awful.

A rookie WR in that shitty offense? Yeah I wouldn’t write that off yet. He was a 2nd/3rd on most boards. I’m curious to see how he does with a different staff. Plus we don’t have the luxury of writing him off yet. Waaaay too many holes to fill.

Do we need another slot though? I hear that’s Mingo’s best fit, so I’d assume he would take it over once AT is done. Pearsell is pretty polished though. If our guys can actually develop WRs, Tez would be a nice pick up if he falls to the mid rounds. He has some nice top end speed and is a true outside WR. I keep reading mixed reviews on Franklin…

McConkey is definitely growing on me. Add a decent vet like Curtis and we will at least have something to work with. Conk, AT, Mingo, Curtis, and ISM isn’t great but it’s definitely a start. I have a feeling Mingo is going to look better in year 2 in our new offense. Of course I thought TMJ was going to develop and look what happened there…

Sounds like we are signing a FA OG, so maybe we double dip at WR if the value is right. I wouldn’t be against a cheap FA like Curtis as well to throw into the mix. We need a complete WR makeover.

Yeah it’s not some crazy cover up. No one outside of the Huddle cares at this point. I just love how people will deny the truth when it counters their narrative. I’m sorry but Schefter isn’t making this up to play clean up to some internet trolls over Tepper’s wife.

I’m not sure that narrative works. He said they were busting Tepper’s balls because he wife was a Stroud person. That implies Dave liked Young IMO.
