  1. I mean Reich is calling the plays and it looks very similar to the plays he was running in Indianapolis that their fans grew tired of. He might be more stubborn that we realize. With Brown and Evero (two HC candidates) on his staff he better figure it out quick or I could see one of them taking over.
  2. Which is the opposite of what a good coach/staff would do. You evolve your schemes based on the players you have and cater it around their best attributes.
  3. What if Fitt convinced him to take Young?
  4. Oh yeah for sure. Especially trading up to acquire him. Stroud made the most sense with the risk that was involved with the trade up. At worst you have a Goff type QB who is pretty solid.
  5. I don’t think anyone is debating his size. That was his only negative, but it’s a pretty big negative red flag. It’s also why the pick was for sale. There was no Luck, Lawrence, Caleb in this past draft. They all had weaknesses.
  6. Agreed but to his credit I think Thomas and Chark were responsible for the other ones. I still kind of think Tremble has some potential and should be TE2 behind Hurst in this offense.
  7. I mean it’s rumored/leaked that Tepper wanted Fields, but we didn’t draft him. I can see him being more direct since we moved up to acquire this QB and I could see Reich/Fitt leaning Young based on what they heard from Tepper. I just don’t think Tepper forced their hands but again it’s all guesses and speculations.
  8. I'm not sure that person wants any additional info. I know what you are talking about and it was an interesting read though.
  9. You thinking a Clausen pic is serious shows how clueless you have become. At one point you were a decent poster. Can you show me where Bryce Young hurt you?
  10. Yeah as soon as Verge posts again he will probably end up getting banned.... again.....
  11. I'm talking about analysts and former GMs who release their draft boards. Relax man you are becoming the new ripadon on here stuck on repeat. We also have insiders who know waaaaay more than some dude crying about busts with an Icky avatar (seems a little ironic given his current play) on a Panthers message board. You keep doing you though.
  12. That guy is broken. He can't handle anything positive about Young. Schefter linked the Texans to wanting him and a majority of the former GMs/Analysts had him ranked one. I think Brugler did like Stroud better, but had Young right behind him. You even have Texans players talking about how happy they are they won that game last year and had Stroud fall to them. It's painfully obvious, but he refuses to admit it.
  13. Yeah it wasn’t some reach out of left field to draft him. He appeared to be the top QB prospect on more boards than not. He was a little polarizing due to his size which makes it a bit of a surprise we traded up what we did for him vs a Stroud who appeared to have a much higher floor.
  14. Damn that 30 yard potential TD pass to Tremble hit him on the hands. I thought it was deflected watching it live. That honestly was one of Young’s better passes.
  15. I’m not sure he has had a pretty long list of them lately…
  16. I’m just glad he is showing the Lions weren’t playing prevent in the 4th. It was the same man disguised Cover 3 they were running most of the game. Dan Campbell isn’t one to let off the gas. Our offense looked better because Reich had to call plays to force it down the field do to the score. Open up the playbook and run some quick no huddle offense.
  17. He shelled out a lot of money for Caldwell to be an offensive consultant and the offense looks like poop.
  18. And I’m sure you are smart enough to know most rookie QBs aren’t putting up Dalton’s 370 plus passing 2 TD 0 INT game. Hell even record breaking Stroud only passed that yard total once this year and has never had more that 2 TDs in a game. If you want to just looks at stats and not context like the 58 pass attempts and shell of a Seahawks secondary that’s what you are left with. You don’t think by week 9 or 10 Tua was playing at 100%?
  19. Was he cleared to play? Yeah I think he was. Looks like Tua played 10 games that year.
  20. The same reason Fitzpatrick looked better than Tua his rookie year. There is a learning curve and most rookie QBs start off below that of a 10 year starter.
  21. Man I remember ole Fitzmagic coming in for Tua and looking better his rookie year. He had to be up there in age as well.
  22. He threw the ball 58 times and had more yards. What was his average 6.2??? I think Young has been 6.0 and 6.4 is past two games. I mean they were down 17 points with 4 minutes left. It wasn't some great offensive performance. The best thing he did was not turn the ball over which makes sense with a veteran. Is Dalton a better QB that Young right now? Of course he is as he should be at this point in his career vs Young's. I don't think anyone is arguing differently. Your reverse tactics are nice, but as I stated EVERYONE has a narrative. Some people just like calling others out while pretending they don't have one as well.
  23. He is saying our whole offense is too dysfunctional to write off Young based on these first few weeks. That seems like a more than reasonable observation/statement. I posted a much more in depth tweet from him about our whole situation last week and I agree. I also agree with commentators saying Young hasn't looked like the top pick. We threw the ball 58 times with Dalton on the road. That's a good way to pad some stats but also lose the game which we did. Dalton is also winless with this roster and he is a 10 plus year starter/vet in this league.
