  1. Some great points in this thread. Young didn’t see an open WR and he isn’t as good as Mahomes after 3 games. Good informative info. Let me take a while to digest all of this…
  2. They have a good offense and Cousins is in his last year. It’s definitely the smallest market but he probably wants to throw go JJ and Addison. He could look good fast with those weapons kind of like Burrow and the Bengals.
  3. I saw one of the teams was rumored to be the Niners??? Really? Purdy hasn’t lost a game yet and Caleb is going to go in there and take his job as a rookie?
  4. You know there is a middle. I wanted Stroud, like Stroud, think he will be great and he is clearly showing he can read defenses just fine. I also can see it’s hard to get a good read on Young in this lack of running game, constant pressured OL, stagnant offense we have him in. He has a lot to prove no doubt. However Reich and his dream team weren’t nearly as prepared for a rookie QB as Fitt made it out to be.
  5. Lol ok yeah you really caught him with his foot in his mouth. Damn I’m sure he is real embarrassed…
  6. https://www.panthers.com/news/notebook-bryce-young-is-running-my-own-race You can like and cheer for both players. Hell they are friends and cheer for each other.
  7. That’s what he is saying. The Texans OC is legit. Ours isn’t allowed to call plays.
  8. How is this a foot in mouth? Basically said IF the test reflects QB play this year then the S2 would become a major draft component. It didn’t so it won’t.
  9. Agreed. More importantly @TheSpecialJuan is back!!
  10. I agree the offense needs to push the ball downfield more but a lot of that is play calling as well. What kind of physical tools are you wanting to see? I mean he isn’t going throw a rocket like AR, but keeping plays alive and making the right reads are going to be where he needs to shine and has shown he can do it a couple plays. We just need more consistency in Young, our running game, our OL, hell pretty much our entire offense.
  11. I’m all for the wait and see approach. The positioning any analyst that doesn’t agree with a certain viewpoint in a negative light seems just lazy IMO.
  12. https://atozsports.com/.amp/carolina/cam-newton-sets-the-record-straight-regarding-bryce-youngs-lack-of-success-carolina-panthers-nfl-podcasts/ Cam Newton also a Tepper PR guy?
  13. Hey @TheSpecialJuan is back!! Tell everyone! Spread the news!
  14. That happens all the time. Nepotism is alive and well throughout the NFL and America in general. As much as I want to complain about it, I would probably be looking out for my family as well if I owner a billion dollar company.
  15. True story, we have 0 wins since Juan was banned. Just something to think about...
  16. That was Matt Rhule's wife I believe. She watching him play in college and wanted us to draft him.
  17. No one is arguing any of that. She is direct family to the sole owner to the Panthers. She holds a high position in the Tepper Sports and Entertainment Group as well. This is not uncommon except it is usually father/son which no one seems to have a problem with.
  18. I mean her husband bought the team and gave her a high position not only in his Sports Group, but the team itself. She clearly wants to be involved and learn the business. Her being unqualified to have her position is nothing out of the ordinary in the NFL. Family members get high jobs regularly it's just usually father/sons. I have no argument for her OR Tepper traveling to pro days as that was unordinary. She is definitely catching extra heat on here from the good ole boys though that she wouldn't be if she was Tepper's son.
  19. Calling out dumb comments isn't "white knighting" lol. I feel like "white knighting" is becoming the new "woke." Anyway this thread is pretty derailed and probably heading to the ole TB before long....
