  1. I’m definitely no expert, but I’m under the impression the line changes based on how people are betting. So in theory if fans are high on a team or it’s an overhyped team they can move the needle pretty easily. At the end of the day Vegas is just hedging bets against other gamblers. Vegas just wants to make money.
  2. Yeah I don’t care about what pick we give Chicago. That just means we have a higher 2nd round pick to work with. Negative press is nothing new to us. If Young is looking like a potential franchise QB by season end I’ll be happy.
  3. Yes 200 plus yards and a couple TDs from a confident Young and we will be feeling a lot better. I’m not as concerned about the wins as long as Young is developing and looking like a guy we can build around as the season progresses. We need some deep shots to Chark to help open up this running game as well.
  4. The only way most fans are going to be satisfied is if Young performs or at least flashes some potential and rightfully so. I get that it’s early, but constant excuses and referring back to NCAA highlights isn’t doing anything to help his case. Most people on here want him to be successful, but eventually he is going to have to show us why he was the top pick. Today against the Vikings below average defense is a great place to start.
  5. Does it not just use the line that makes them the most money? If your average betting person is hyped by a team or player it probably does feed into the equation.
  6. He arguably has better stats than Higgins. The Bengals offense has been struggling.
  7. Damn Bru McCoy just had a nasty ankle injury against South Carolina.
  8. Yeah he’ll go in the first. His skills translate well and he doesn’t have many weaknesses.
  9. Yeah the QB realized all he has to do is throw it to Bowers…
  10. That’s the second player than got hurt tackling Bowers…
  11. They need to not leave one man covering him
  12. He is ridiculous. I can’t wait to see what he can do at the next level.
  13. I think you are missing the context of the conversion. The person I was replying to was comparing how much better AR is than Bryce. You can only use the 2 games they’ve played to do so and if we want to play that game the one who has played better also has yet to finish a game. Kind of indirectly stating your exact point.
  14. Without a doubt as any college player does. It will help when our OL plays better and he is avoiding one defender vs 2-3. He typically scrambles to look for the pass though which isn’t relevant to rushing yards. That was my point.
  15. He is talking about “extending plays” I’m not sure why you are flexing on rushing yards….
  16. The problem with DJax is he has always been a streaky CB that relied on his speed to cover up his mistakes. If his injury hampered his speed at all (which I’m thinking it did) he is going to have to change his game style quite a bit. He will need to become a more technically sound CB.
  17. Yeah as long as a RB doesn’t get hot that stat line isn’t too far off JJ’s average. I really wish we had Woods and Horn playing to see how good they can be.
  18. Miles had a couple yards short of 100 total in week 1 when BC was playing. He isn’t a rb than can make something out of nothing, but if we get our OL playing better he will look better. The OL play can fix like 80-90% of our offense. We still have some WRs running sloppy routes but outside of that it’s OL play. Corbett will help but will probably be rusty for a game or two. That BC injury hurts a lot more than I thought it would.
  19. I like this one and I would probably count that as a win for us.
