I think both prospects are great passers. We also have a great staff that is equipped to develop either QB. I lean Stroud because there isn’t much our staff can do to overcome Young’s weakness in his size.

If someone is bragging about wins, Stetson Bennett should be their choice.

The fact that both players have such few losses and still had solid games at their worst makes me feel good about the spot we are in.

I’m just saying that same critique applies to Young. It’s perfectly valid criticism. Both schools are powerhouses with loaded rosters. It was nothing personal.

Just curious as to why Stroud’s game against Michigan is concerning, but not Young’s against UGA for the championship? I prefer Stroud because I think he has the lowest floor, but I won’t complain if we draft Young.

So Young has a great OL and possibly the 2nd RB drafted this year. It will be interesting to see where his WRs land when it's all said and done. He also as the GOAT as his HC which clearly helps (and as an Auburn fan it hurt to type that). Alabama is never hurting for talent.

But I keep hearing our salary cap guru is one of the best.... That dead cap hit is nasty!

If you are arguing the OSU roster is loaded with talent you would have to hold that against Young as well. Both players were on very talented rosters with great college coaches.

I feel like if the Texans know we are willing to swap picks with them, it’s kind of telling we aren’t drafting their guy. Unless I’m missing something they would just stay at 2 without giving up anything and get their guy?

A great QB with average WRs triumphs great WRs with an average QB (and we couldn’t even get average).

I would be extremely surprised if it’s Levis at 1. If we trade back down to 3 (don’t see this happening) then Levis is a real option.

I get the impression they think this roster will be ready to plug in a rookie QB which is why they traded up for that pick. Any other trades will probably be getting rid of lower tier players for low picks.

Olsen did wonders for Cam, Kelce for Mahomes, Andrews for Lamar the list goes on and on.

I think we get a vet TE like Schultz and draft a WR like Downs/Hyatt at 39. Together they can help offset the Moore loss and Schultz can be a nice safety need for our rookie QB.

Agreed. Rounds 5/6 should be big school OL. Would love another player like Mays.
