Give Pep Hamilton a young QB like Stroud/Young and let him do what he did for Andrew Luck, Justin Herbert, and Davis Mills. Lots of experience and is a local man.

He is a starter?

We don’t really need to do that. I’d try to trade CMC this offseason. Get rid of Shaq/RA/any overpaid JAG. We have 3 good young OL in Icky, BC, and Moton plus a good young WR in Moore all locked in for the next few years. Corral can be a cheap backup with potential. Insert a Young/Stroud with a good coach and our offense isn’t too far away. Horn, DJax, and Chinn (when used correctly) are good young defensive players. Brown needs some help on the DL, but he looked good last game. We are just having trouble finishing games in which a new coach and QB could correct.

Firing Rhule/Snow would hopefully stop us from dropping Burns into coverage on 3rd and long, let Chinn play in the box, get our man CBs out of this soft zone they were playing, gets players like TMJ, and Higgins some playing time, and allow Bozeman to get his shot at C. It’s also lets our team/players know losing isn’t ok and we expect better. I’m not saying we will magically make a playoff run, but maybe it can inject some juice in our players on game day.

Hill can just run wildcat all over our run defense.

I kind of respect giving a coach time to build a team considering what a mess Rhule inherited. However, it's painfully obvious to all the fans/analysts etc that Rhule is in over his head and doesn't belong in the NFL. Waiting now is just being stubborn or dumb...

Rhule is trying to figure out if he is going to get one win this year or not.

This is where I was at. I was hoping he would let McAdoo, Wilks, and Tabor do their jobs and with a decent QB we might be respectable. Doesn’t look like I was right…

You think Carson Strong is the best QB of this past class. You think Trask is a good NFL QB. You think Corral is the next Rodgers. One is without a team and the other 2 are 3rd string when healthy. I put you with the has no clue what he is talking about crowd.

I said 5 million and a 5th round pick is a good trade for a starting QB. Baker is an average starting QB. If we didn’t have him who would be starting? PJ? You are just bitter because you spent thousands of posts hyping up Corral calling him the next Rodgers and Brees then when he played in the preseason it was ugly. Baker is still our best option, he just can’t elevate our struggling franchise like an elite QB could.

I do think he is playing hurt in his defense…

Let him stay at LT and develop. We aren’t going anywhere with Rhule as HC. Might as well develop our top 10 pick this year.

If someone like the Bucs draft McCall late in the first it would ruin everything. It just take ones team to like a young signal caller like McCall. If we could pull it off it would be great, but if we think McCall is our future QB we might trade down a little and “reach” for him.

It’s a tough spot though. You don’t draft him in the top 5, but it’s one hell of a risk to wait until early round 2 to take him…

He played better than he did last week. I look for this trend to continue as he was seen as a relatively raw pass blocking LT out of college. He set out too wide for one play and got beat inside and the other was a missed pickup on a blitz. Both are just mental mistakes that will get corrected with experience.

I know it’s early, but none of the QBs in this coming class are really crushing it right now. Pick 1 vs 3 might not matter as much this year…

I think Baker is solid, but not good enough to hide our offense incompetencies. He isn’t a QB that can elevate a struggling offense. He is just average who can look good some plays and bad some. He usually wont be the reason we win or lose IMO.

Morgan/PepHamilton/Stroud (Young might be growing on me. Seems to have a clutch gene in him).
