  1. Small school OL worry me. I know Moton was one, but they are typically going 1vs1 against smaller prospects making it hard to project them.
  2. There is one theory they don’t want to be stuck in the middle constantly out of reach for the next top QB. Similar to the Colts lately, but you can always trade up and grab one, it’s just very pricey (see the Niners for Lance).
  3. To tank for next year’s QB class. I don’t agree with it, but that’s been his plan the whole time.
  4. The years he was on the roster are pretty misleading. He is a mid level QB. Their backup is obviously worse, so when the starter gets hurt (which apparently he does a lot), the team is going to be worse. If he was such a difference maker Kyle and Lynch wouldn’t have traded 3 first round picks to move up and grab Lance so they can replace him. If he was such a difference maker there would be a bidding war like their was for Watson. So he will get traded one of the last teams standing for lower picks because he is just a mid level injury prone QB…
  5. If true, it sounds like Rhule is still calling the shots getting his vet.
  6. I just want more threads like the Watson trade threads. We learned about Garry Cobb and egg penises. We laughed, cried and good times were had…
  7. Every other franchise has been firing coaches after kissing the playoffs 2 years in a row. 5-11, 5-12, plus another losing season would be unacceptable. If the roster keeps improving as you stated and we keep losing that falls right on coaching.
  8. I think your missing the whole picture. If you are a top tier FA why would you pick Carolina over several other teams? The direction of the team? The coach/staff? The owner? To play with star players? To live in Charlotte?
  9. I think he means the statue QBs. The new crop are all pretty athletic minus Mac Jones. Even Herbert and Burrow are rolling out creating more time with their feet. That’s actually why they are calling Strong’s lack of mobility a negative. That plus his knee are hurting his draft stock.
  10. He only had 1.5 seconds before he was getting sacked.
  11. Aaron Rodgers was 63.4% in college, Drew Brees 61.1%, Peyton Manning 62.5%. Malik is 62.8%.....
  12. Yeah just take him in the 6th round and hope we get a Brady. What are the odds???
  13. I mean we have cap space hanging out to sign one. I think it’s a terrible idea, but it looks like that what we are planning on it…
  14. That really solves a lot of our problems. We won’t be “reaching” for a QB and we acquire some much needed additional draft picks.
  15. Him being aware of the alcohol issue and getting ahead of it early is a plus IMO. How many guys his age have done this. There have been plenty of players that played through alcoholism, but to have a grasp on it before he is even drafted shows a lot of dedication and maturity. He gave honest sincere answers with his depression and potential alcoholism and was open with it. I wish more athletes would do this.
  16. Oh I’m not saying he is off limits, but the post I was responding to said we brought him in. I was curious where he saw that. Pie for dramatic prairie dog!
  17. Well yeah when you draft someone high you hope they are that talented. However look at Ryan Fitzpatrick and the McCown brothers. It’s just not as rare as it once was.
  18. Surely someone would pick him up late and even let him sit a year to help his knee. Risk/reward has to be off the charts…
  19. 40 or near 40 isn’t as rare. Brees, Big Ben, Manning was like 38. Rodgers is 38 and was just MVP again. Now mid 40s like Brady is doing is crazy….
