  1. Yeah I’m hoping Mingo can take some snaps from him in the slot with DJ and XL on the outside. It gives AT rest and lets Mingo play his more natural position.
  2. Why do you think we are trying to tank? If and yeah it's a big IF we can actually keep out core healthy we should be a playoff team with solid coaching and Lee certainly has the pedigree to be a good HC. Melo and Miller playing front court and Williams (Mark and Grant) down low with possibly Bridges who we are trying to resign is a decent starting 5.
  3. He has still shown he can be a top talent at OG. It's on us if we can't get him schemed or coached correctly. If we traded for a top QB that QB isn't suddenly questionable. They are proven and if we mess them up it's on us probably more than them.
  4. It was a questionable pick, but if there was a draft to gamble on a pick it was probably this draft. Just a bad draft year all around.
  5. This is the reason future picks are valued less by GMs than current picks. Two future 1st with one 2 plus years away don’t hold the kind of value that 2 current 1st round picks do. It was still a bad trade to reject, but it looks worse as the years approach where the picks actually are/ would have been.
  6. Their starting 5 is probably the best in the East now though
  7. Yeah but at the same time you want them to show something in a typical offense before you completely restructure you offensive roster to where other QBs won't have success if you decide to replace him. It's a tough spot...
  8. Yeah his defense would be an issue.
  9. https://x.com/JustBlande/status/1804717014935548148 For those who were interested in Young working with his WRs outside of camp.
  10. Yes the team is bad. Yes Young struggled his first year and yes our owner is still Tepper. So I agree with your “get over it” comment. The team isn’t going to stop letting players do interviews, avoid any possible questions about Young, lock Tepper away to hide him from the public, or any of this nonsense stuff. They fired their GM and HC. So let’s get over it like you said and see what happens. If people don’t like these interviews and PR articles, I understand. However, whining about them and continuously drawing attention to them (AKA clicks) sure as hell isn’t making them go away anytime soon. Just a heads up…
  11. I live in Knoxville so I’ve seen a lot of Knect and I could get behind that pick. He is a scoring machine and was the best player on the court more times than not by a decent margin.
  12. You don’t talk about another man’s brisket like that.
  13. It gets clicks. We have shared it on here, most of us have clicked it thus generating money…
  14. Yeah I don’t think they are going to shut down their marketing/PR department. It’s still a big business with loads of money to be made.
  15. No doubt. Year 2 plus a staff that’s all on the same page has to have him feeling better.
  16. Hey at least we are still trying to improve this roster. We need any pass rush help we can get.
  17. Hunt and Moton will be the OL leaders. Love the energy Shaq and Jewell seem to have. We desperately need good LB play. I see Brooks as the CMC type hard work leader for us. He seems to live and breathe football.
  18. I'm just saying if you watched that video and took away from it Tepper is messing up again, you either weren't paying attention or were going to come away with that opinion no matter what. I don't care if people like him or not. I don't care for him right now. It was mainly a video about how Morgan operated the draft. Maybe they intentionally made it appear that way, but it was pretty clear they either wanted us to think this is Morgan's baby or it really is. Again not watching the video I think you are just wanting to argue or shoot the poo for a minute.
  19. You didn't watch the video? Did you really just get into an argument about a video you didn't watch? I'm not even mad, I'm impressed.
  20. Right. Morgan stated he wanted his boss to feel that he did a good job at his first draft. That's a normal mindset...
