    It's a practice squad QB. If our HC is interested seeing what he can do with Hooker (insert joke) then it's a cheap easy move.

    Agreed. We should be banned from trading away 1st round picks until we get a playoff win. We still have a lot of holes and not much depth on this roster. Just keep trying to add talent where we can.

    We have no business giving up the kind of capital that GB did until we have a more complete roster. We already did this to trade up for Bryce which has set us back for a minute.

    The talent was depleted so I’m willing to give the coaches a little time. We have to start hitting on these drafts.

    2024 was Tillis cleaning up contracts Ave 2025 looks pretty normal. 2026 is currently less than 3 million. This is Tillis’s job now and he looks to be handling it better. On top of that we actually have extra space we can rollover into next year if needed.

    I think he could be a nice reliable 3rd down target. Let him find the soft spots in the defense. XL and TMac should handle the outside.

    Doubt it would have changed anything. The opportunity to get a top player at a premium position at his age is so rare.

    This is what I was saying earlier. He wants to play close to home. Honestly same as AT playing in Minnesota (except he was contracted to play here). People have to let things fully unfold before they start whining. Regardless I doubt HR will have as good of a year as some think. I see him as a clutch 3rd down guy and a nice vet to mentor these young WRs.

    Yeah my dad was a big SC fan so I like to see them do well. Shula with a mobile QB equals watch the QB try to play hero ball. We have all seen it here…

    I’m worried SC’s lack of OL is going to prevent Sellers from taking the next steps progressing as a passer.

    Not uncommon for week 1 games. Especially against good defenses. It’s why I prefer my team play these small schools week 1 if they are going to play them. Gives the offense time to get calibrated.

    Also anyone thing we could have traded AT for a 3rd or higher is out of their mind. We did good to get a 4th honestly.

    In their defense it was our leading WR getting hurt followed by another injury, but yeah we still gave talent there. XL needs to be ready to step up while TMac adjusts to the NFL. JT should be a good receiving option as well.

    Him having success is good for football. Same reason why I want Sanders to do good too.
