Agreed. At least that’s where he SHOULD be drafted. Someone will overdraft him, but he was exposed at UGA last year.

If the Titans are dumb enough to move on from Ward after 1 year with zero help I’d throw a 3rd their way for him without hesitation. I doubt they do though. He was the top pick.

They have a great HC over there. I don't know if he was using us for leverage or not, but we sure as hell should have entertained the idea. -

Ladd had a great rookie season. Looks like he is starting to come back down this year. This is with a solid QB and a solid HC who is known to make his QBs look even better. This year Ladd is averaging around 40 yards a game and has 0 TDs. He also was injury prone in college. If he was a Panther he would probably be injured now or not playing nearly as well as he did last year. You can't just pick players that are succeeding with other franchises and assume they will be doing the same here. -
If we have the top pick the first plan should be to trade down if someone can offer a dumb package like we did.

Who are the top QB prospects for the 2015 draft?

Allar is so frustrating. I get he doesn’t make many weapons at PSU but he disappears in big games. His arm is impressive though… -

You sure Dante Moore at Oregon is purely a dual threat? I think you might be thinking of Taylen Green. Moore has 1200 passing yards 14 passing TDs, 1 INT, with a 75% completion rate vs 122 rushing yards 0 rushing TDs on the season. Mendoza has 6 more carries so far for example. -
Moore is a redshirt sophomore so technically he can declare. I’m not sure that he will. If he does he is the best prospect by a decent margin so far.

He has two NFL WRs on his roster one being Lemons who should be a high 1st round pick. That plus Lincoln’s offense help his stats look great. Don’t get me wrong he has a nice arm and seems to throw decent on the run but he has had some bad open misses too. I wouldn’t want him in the 1st.

Check out Dante Moore vs Penn St on the road. -

Oregon vs PSU should be 2 QB prospects going at it. I do like Moore a lot, but I’d be surprised if he declares as a redshirt sophomore. -

Walk away with Moore and Sadiq and that’s a big win. I doubt Moore declares yet and Sadiq probably goes in the late first as of now. Mateer is interesting because that injury to his hand could make him drop more than he should. Still going in the first though as of now. Plus QBs always get overdrafted. -
Stroud will be fine. Yeah they need to fix his OL they stripped apart and yeah he is currently playing bad with his new OC and no OL. The main difference is Stroud showed what he can be for a whole season his rookie year, plus went to the playoffs in each of his first two seasons. I believe he is 2-2 in the playoffs at a very young age for a franchise that was the 2nd worst when they drafted him. This season looks bad but it’s also very early. I will say that this season so far gives you a glimpse of how Stroud would look here. It’s still very much a team sport and always will be.

Jared Feinberg's Falcons v Panthers film breakdown

That would be on the defense for allowing 38 points and his RB coughing up a fumble. The fact of the matter is Lamar typically plays well under pressure. -

He definitely got sacked a bunch but still put up over 300 yards 3 TDs and 0 turnovers, completing 78% of his passes at over 10 yards per attempt. If that’s not playing well I’ll take it 17/17 games. -

The good ones still eat up the blitzes. Lamar is probably the best at it now. -

Blitz Peyton Manning and you were asking for trouble -
He has to earn it first!

The good ones make you pay. Now if you can pressure without blitzing then year that changes things. -

Penix struggles under pressure. This dates back to college. He looked great against his Pac-12 defense and then when they made the playoffs against a good defense he looked erratic like he did last Sunday. If you can force the Falcons to pass and get pressure on him you should have a good day. Their strength will always been the running game with Bijan as long as he is there. The David Moore hate confuses me too. Depth vet who can play special teams and do the dirty work like blocking. He is on a pretty reasonable contract as well. -

Mateer is having hand surgery and could miss a month. Then he has to jump in to a tough part of his schedule. Mendoza has a chance to run away with the Heisman race and potential top pick. I still think Dante Moore is about to get some attention. -
Not to mention we probably get Wharton back in a couple games. I believe he is one of our better pass rushing DL. LB is still a glaring weakness, hopefully Wallace starts to put it all together (looked better last Sunday), but he still has a long way to go if he wants to be our long term solution there.

I could be wrong, but I don't think Ransom on the field means Scott off the field. I think we were playing some Big Dime with Ransom as the 3rd safety.
-
I kind of want to see what Thornton can do. He looked legit in his preseason snaps.
-
That Jackson trade was a pretty solid one. I don't think he is elite or anything but he looks to be a solid CB2 we acquired for our 7th round rookie LB if I remember correctly?
