Observer Projections / *Updated Panthers Waiver Additions

Another Gamecock. -
These guys aren’t on rosters now for a reason. NFL GMs aren’t dumb they know if a player is a scheme issue or not. Half of these guys signed on other teams just to be cut.
-
He will still be a focus on our offense. We invested a top 10 pick in him so he will get looks and plenty of opportunities.
-
Agreed but it makes some sense. TMac is going to be a focus on the offense, XL should be freed up in the Z, and Coker is young and promising. They all need reps
-
Person (so take it with a grain of salt) claimed AT was already being phased out of the offense based on camp.
-
What was DK traded for?
-
I know, these players had such great careers before coming here.
-
The Sanders thing is fake. We could use some safety help no doubt but the FB thing about him asking us to sign him is fake.
-
Love Moose, but looking back at his career he broke 1000 receiving yards 3/14 times including one insane year in 2004 where he had 16 TDs. Those other 11 years were decent, but the fact he is one of our top WRs in franchise history shows how we really struggle at drafting/developing them.

Official Panthers Roster Cuts (Updated)

Chris Paul Jr is worth a look. -
He looked decent filling in during that Kansas City game. Regardless WRs this deep on the roster are special teams players primarily.
-
So you are trying to make people ignore you? Sounds like trolling...
-
There is a 100% correlation between fans overreacting to Renfrow not being WR 6/7 on our depth chart and Clemson fans.
-
I get Renfrow is easy to like but he is a year removed from the league in which he had some pretty pedestrian stats his last two active seasons. Throw in the fact he is already having some injury issues holding him back I can understand why he was released.
-
You are talking about WR 5-6 behind TMac, XL, AT, and Coker. Yes familiarity it something all coaches do. They bring on players they liked from the other teams they coached at. These players know the system with limited reps. Moore is a NFL special teams player who can fill in and play some outside WR. That's what you are at these deep WR positions.
-
Moore made it for special teams. That's what he does. Special teams and can step in last year for a couple games if players get injured. If you are deep on the WR list and can't play special teams you aren't making the team.
-
He has the ability to be one. When you have no pass rush and some bad safeties you also can’t let the offense decide where to move one of your few players. I get why he has to play him in zone right now and let the lesser players have a smaller field to work with. I do hope he gets a chance to play more man this year because historically he is better at it. As for the paying him thing, I get where you are coming from. Letting him walk would have just depleted us of what little talent we have though. We probably overpaid but each year that contract should look better as the market resets.
-
Him not traveling is on Evero. He prefers using Horn to erase a section of the field vs a player since we don’t have much talent. If our defense had the talent like he did in Denver I’m sure he would let Horn shadow a WR. Regardless Horn is having to play how his DC draws it up.
-
He loved Carson Strong too.
-
Wishing you a speedy recovery friend.
-
Agreed if Bryce struggles again you let DC draft his QB. There should be several options in this class.

No one has said joint practice is more important. I’ve said coaches are using joint practices to get their starters reps and giving them less reps on the preseason games because of this. They are both just a tool for the staff to shape their depth chart and brush off some of the offseason rust.
