I could be wrong, but I don't think Ransom on the field means Scott off the field. I think we were playing some Big Dime with Ransom as the 3rd safety.

I kind of want to see what Thornton can do. He looked legit in his preseason snaps.

That Jackson trade was a pretty solid one. I don't think he is elite or anything but he looks to be a solid CB2 we acquired for our 7th round rookie LB if I remember correctly?

Just keep staying healthy. When healthy he is absolutely one of the best in the business. He is crucial to our defense.

Yep. Actually watching the first half showed me we kept Bijan in check. He had a couple long runs to bring their average up but they weren't converting early when they tried running. We brought in Ransom in the Big Dime package and he was huge against the rung with Moehrig. Our LBs actually played decent for a change as well. DB kept their OL busy for the most part as well. Evero did a good job Sunday.

Moore plays the X, HR is slot. Not sure about Tremayne.

I remember Sherman was literally made up things other players said to piss himself off and get him mentally ready to play. Pretty wild….

This is exactly what happened. He was 1-5 here struggling and Sam got healthy so we were benching him for Sam with Walker as the backup and he requested to be released which he did.

We didn’t trade him. We released him midseason. He was unhappy he was getting benched and asked to be released which we did. Wanted a fresh start and a chance to start. He immediately got it with the Rams.

I said Bryce’s was nothing new. The other ones are definitely weird.

It’s a weird year so far with teams playing Big Dime. Bryce is 5.4 YPA (yeah nothing new), Burrow was 5.3, Baker and Nic are 5.5, Hurts is 5.6. Then you have Danny Dimes leading the league at 9.3. I imagine some of these will correct back to normal once the season progresses.

Would you trade Bryce for him tomorrow straight up?

I think he has had 3 game winning drives in there 3 wins. Pretty impressive, but I agree with the whole settling the score thing. He asked Wilks to release him once he was benched for Darnold and Wilks did him a favor and did it. There is no grudge to be had there.

55 pass attempts? He wants to see Bryce attempt passes there should have been plenty of looks from 55 pass attempts in one game. I’m not saying they were good or bad just plenty of attempts.

Look man you are going to have a hard time convincing me that a team missing 2 WRs and 2 OL needed to step back and air it out against a team that has been playing very well rushing the passer after getting a strong lead. That is just bad football in my eyes. He aired it out all day last week. There will be plenty of tape for us to look at.

It’s week 3 and any team would be playing to win. Bryce be damned we have to start developing a winning culture. Losing a week 3 divisional game because you wanted to evaluate your QB is a good way to get fired. There are other players and coaches in this team that want to win. Also another way to evaluate Bryce is to see how he performs in games that matter. In order to have these games you need wins.
