  1. Jimmy really does compliment those big outside WRs pretty well. Twitchy speedster is something we need on this offense. I'd love it if he could be used similar to Curtis Samuel. I know the odds aren't in his favor based on where he was drafted.
  2. I was mostly joking. I know @CRA is a big Clemson guy. Honestly the hope is that Coker (or possibly Jimmy Horn) take over the slot this year after AT retires. XL and TMac should hopefully be holding down the Z and X.
  3. Agreed. Our offense is getting pretty complete, maybe a legit TE1 but not many teams have that. Hopefully Bryce keeps developing and we could have a fun offense to watch for a change. The good news is next class looks to be loaded with QB talent if we need it and our situation on offense should be good for a rookie as well.
  4. Agreed. Also as soon as they received the top pick in the next draft it was over. Bears won that trade. Gave up a top overall pick got one the next year plus pick 9, a couple 2nds, and DJ Moore a proven young WR. Had their 2024 pick from us be in the late teens or later it would be more debatable IMO.
  5. We missed on Burns at his peak value. That’s the problem with trading for picks 2-3 years away (which people were convinced the Rams would suck by now and these would be higher picks btw). Each year away the pick is the further in value it drops. Fitt was clearly hired based on turning us around quickly. It’s one of the many reasons tanking isn’t really a thing as our player JJ is telling you in this original article. It would take the whole organization from the owners down admitting they aren’t winning soon with Burns and picks 2-3 years away having more value because that’s when we are still rebuilding. It would only make sense if Fitt had a longer leash and would more than likely be the ones making these picks anyway which you wouldn’t want. The question is would you rather have those Rams picks with the strong possibility of Fitt still being here or would you rather Fitt try to “win now” like he did and expedite his firing? Altering the timeline would affect more than just the Rams picks.
  6. You’re assuming Fitt still gets fired at the same time. That’s the problem with all these hypothetical hindsight thoughts. If we had a fire sale so to speak I’m not sure the GM gets fired a year or two later due to a bad roster and bad record. Fitt went into win now mode, made it seem like we were only a QB away “we won’t drafting this high again” trading picks for vets etc and when he couldn’t show results he was fired. I’m sure this was all mentioned in his GM interviews. What’s his plan to turn us around and how quickly can he do it. Also you want last year’s CMC and Burns on our roster? At their price? Moving on from both was the right call, with Burns being the wrong time. If a team does a full roster strip down rebuild it can buy the GM more time as long as everyone is on the same page.
  7. So we should have sold off all of our talent and what? Allowed Fitt to have an excuse to stay longer and use all that draft capital. He was pretty bad at drafting... I feel like we were going to struggle regardless until we got the right staff here. Hopefully Tillis, Morgan, and Canales are the right group.
  8. Back to Bryce lol. I agree. I said "Bryce's situation was different because there were genuine concerns about his size." I'm just saying I doubt Tet did this as well like you suggested as there wasn't really a need to.
  9. Weighing more than what? His weight seems to be what was expected aside from a random Huddler on here claiming he has the frame of someone in high school? He didn't magically weigh more.... 6'4" and 219 is still a slim frame but again he is a WR so it doesn't matter as much (see Higgins and London). Bryce's situation was different because there were genuine concerns about his size. @LinvilleGorge already hit the nail on the head. None of the top guys are doing combine workouts and it's not some conspiracy about them adding weight.
  10. He was weighed at the combine at 219 officially. If you are getting that 4.6 number from his pro day he was also measured in the 4.4s by different scouts. Regardless he is the same build and speed currently as Tee and Drake if you want to run with the 4.6.
  11. Tee is the same height and weight. He just has a huge catch radius like TMac. Drake London is 6’4” 216 as well. You can work on beating the press while not getting jacked. Most WRs are huge like XL.
  12. He needs to get jacked like Tee Higgins. Isn’t that his comp? Maybe he can be huge like Justin Jefferson or the great Randy Moss…
  13. They have Hamilton and Starks as their starters so probably just need some depth if anything. If we sign anyone it will be Blackmon or Williams since they have brought them in for visits already. Probably depends on how the group looks in TC.
  14. There should be a lottery to see which team gets to use Mahomes for the year. Just to see how much of a difference a great QB can make.
  15. Played injured most of his rookie year as well. I hope he and TMac can hold down our WR spots for a long time.
  16. TMac has about 3 inches on XL. XL is only 6’1” despite being listed as 6’3” a lot. Combine has XL at 6’1” 221 pounds. TMac came in at over 6’4” and 219 pounds. I know XL is built thicker but we are talking about WRs. JJ isn’t super jacked, Randy Moss was pretty thin. If everything clicks with TMac his ceiling is impossible to cover with his size. TMac is also a little over 2 years younger. I don’t think it’s a plain and simple edge to XL in ceiling.
  17. One is looking at his overall grade and one is looking at separation. https://www.pff.com/news/draft-2025-nfl-draft-highest-graded-fbs-receivers-coverage-scheme#:~:text=5.,missed tackles against man coverage. Has him at 89.1 again. McMillan led the draft class with 34 catches for 508 yards against single coverage in 2024, and Missouri‘s Luther Burden III was the only other FBS receiver in this draft cycle to force double-digit missed tackles against man coverage. McMillan gained 211 yards after the catch (second most), caught three touchdown passes and gained 24 first downs. He secured nine contested targets and recorded 12 explosive gains.
  18. Open rate? His actual PFF grade against man was 89.1 according to the article I showed you. So either teams aren’t pressing him very often (makes sense due to the talent gap between him and most defenders) or he is just schooling them while being “covered” or not open against man defense. I saw Hunter pressing him in their 2023 matchup and it was literally just Hunter holding him to keep up and he got called on it several times.
  19. Just get rid of the stupid lottery. Every fan knows it’s nonsense at this point. We also need to trade away Ball at this point and draft a PG to develop with Miller, Williams, and whatever we get for Ball.
  20. Against man? He put up two statistically great seasons and you are telling me all teams had to do was play man against him? McMillan’s statistical profile has very few gaps when it comes to on-field production. PFF gave him an 85.8 total receiving grade and an 89.1 grade versus man coverage. In particular, McMillan’s success rate versus man coverage should be a big boon for the offense that had a hard time finding options when the opposing defense lined up to play press man. https://sports.yahoo.com/article/tetairoa-mcmillan-team-fit-projections-020248060.html
  21. Come on guys… TMac has the higher floor and ceiling. It’s why one was a top 10 pick and the other barely made it in the first round. XL is still huge and explosive and probably plays better at the Z.
