  1. I think he may be less raw than people are thinking. I could see a team incorporating an offense similar to the Eagles last year and running a lot of plays with AR helping get his feet wet in year one.
  2. Reich isn't going to talk bad about any prospect or player. It will always be nothing but compliments. That's the kind of person he is. It works out great too because it prevents people from knowing where his head is at in situations like this.
  3. Even if it's AR (which I don't think it is) I feel like he is getting playing time week 1. Dalton is the backup and got paid like a backup.
  4. He looks as mobile as Burrow to me (which isn't bad). Young is definitely to more elusive player out of the two. Burrow takes a ton of sacks, but also had a bad OL so it's hard to tell.
  5. I could see Stroud taking hits due too his lack of mobility vs Young. I think Stroud (at least in college) tends to get the ball out quick. He is more prone to throw it away vs running around extending it trying to make a play. Young has been doing more or as much with less talent at WR than Stroud, that alone may help him have more success early that Stroud will. They are both two great options so either way I'm good.
  6. I honestly haven't followed him that much, but if he is taking a bunch of hits (I know he got injured last year), he will need to adjust his playing style as well. People like to reference Mahomes, well yeah that backyard football style translating to the NFL is as likely as AR becoming the next Josh Allen. Also Mahomes has mastered extending plays without taking as many hits. He loves to tip top the sidelines and step out of bounds before contact. That's the main advice Rodgers gave Burrow during his sophomore year. "learn to slide, and don't take so many hits." The good news is Young is probably the smartest QB in the draft and will put in the hours to adjust his style (at least I hope so). They all will have adjustments to make as rookies.
  7. People keep bringing up Young’s SEC competition. Aside from UGA (who Stroud played) which team had an elite defense that he played? LSU’s defense wasn’t what it normally was, Ole Miss was an offensive team, Auburn was a shell of itself? I know several BIG10 schools were ranked on the top 10 defenses when Stroud played them. Stroud WRs are a much better arguing point than his competition.
  8. Maybe the playing style? Bryce extends plays and takes a lot of hits doing it. Brees was more of a pocket passer who got the ball out fast. Honestly Brees’s style is more like Stroud IMO.
  9. Foreman signed a 1 year $3 million deal after several days of FA. The league sets its values on players. Our OL helped him look great. Sanders is a 3 down back who also has good hands. He is like a Saquan-lite with less injuries.
  10. I believe he was liked as a prospect, but the Jets and Wilson never really used him right. The hope is he can be had for cheaper because of his production but excel with a decent OC and QB.
  11. Hyatt or Downs at 39 with Tillman or Boutte later in the draft and we should have a nice young core. TMJ, Chark, Shenault, Hyatt/Downs, Tillman/Boutte should be some nice weapons to go with Hurst and Sanders behind a solid OL.
  12. I wouldn't hate it if it was. I think he has the highest ceiling and Stroud has the highest floor. While I'd prefer Stroud at one, I wouldn't hate AR there if our staff is as good as advertised....
  13. Yeah he was great the year before. If we can grab him with one of our 4s, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
