Absolutely. We just need some talent. Any position could use more of it. -

I like AD but I doubt he makes it to 33. Worthy is fast but VERY small. Honest question, who was the last Pac12 WR to make a big impact? Addison comes to mind, but he was producing with Pitt before he transferred... I feel like that division airs it out with no defense so the WRs look great. That kind of concerns me with Troy Franklin, but I would be on board if we draft him. His measurables look great. -
Yeah Frank was half asleep. He also called up a play for a WR that wasn't on the field and had to use a timeout. Still Bryce's fault thought damn it! “I called a play for Thielen,” he said. “And then, I realized he was out. And I didn’t know he was out fast enough. It was a play that could only go to Thielen. So, I had to change the call. And that was the one we had to call a timeout on.”

2 of the 4 are TDs if the pass is timed right. One he has to come back for the ball. I think it's only 4 total?

Wait, are you wanting us to draft a TE or not? (Kidding) I do like this draft. I mean Bortolini could be starting sooner vs later from round 5.
-
He was inactive for a chunk of games, only played 9 with limited snaps. Sure you can blame the QB but he has to be towards the bottom of the liability list I would imagine. I do think Bryce shares some blame of Mingo’s issues last year. He are some examples…

Reich barely gave him any playing time. Hell he was inactive for several games last year. I think he played 9 games with limited snaps.
-
I heard it's Bryce's fault that TJ Watt injured Cam and ruined his shoulder. He also may have shot JFK....

I want to have hope for him, but every time I do he lets me down. He has had awful coaching no joke, but I've watched him completely give up on routes. In college he was a beat though, and didn't he catch more TDs than JJ and Chase that final year? Maybe I'm making that up...

I wonder if the Colts are looking at him to reunite with AR. They do already have Downs in the slot though. -
Golden Lion is 1-0

I'd love one of those drafts where Pearsall is our 2nd WR taken.

Not sure every team got better. Some are bound to be worse. Hopefully we aren't one of those teams because our floor was pretty low last year. The good news is our offensive coaching staff was all created by one person this time. Canales brought in his guys. I think if he can't make things work with Bryce that he will bring in his own guy at QB next year. The good news it Morgan looks to be building a better roster to put Bryce or another QB on. The draft needs to be a hit this year still.

They were waaaaay off last year apparently. I think we both have agreed if we get to 6 wins is a solid year so 4.5 might be around expectations honestly.
-
Hey it's the offseason. All we can talk about are offseason things. When the season starts we can look at actual performance vs expectations and etc...
-
It's not a being YET.

This is huge. We haven't had a great draft in a long time...

Check out this article from the Athletic someone sent me. Looks like Callahan was all set to come here, Tennessee just beat us to the punch. "when someone offers you one of these jobs, you take it." There are only 32 HC jobs in the league. I'm not sure we really were scraping at the bottom of the barrel for someone to come here. Vrabel came out for an interview so he was at least interested as well.

You can spin the Baker thing either way honestly. He is definitely streaky, but his first year in Tampa DC had him playing at his peak. He was on his 4th team in 2 years so let's no pretend like he was the guy and we were just that bad. I mean he did have CMC and Moore with us and no doubt we were much worse than Tampa and Cleveland, but he was in a bit of a rut and struggling after that injury in Cleveland. Sam Darnold outplayed him and took the job back from him on the same roster. Canales helped him get his confidence back and play back to his top form again. I believe he was up for comeback player of the year? It wasn't as impressive as his work with Geno, but it was still something to be proud of IMO. Bucs fans seemed pretty upset as a whole that we took him from them which sounds like a good thing.

We met with the Texas RB too. Brooks I believe.
-
I think some fans are very guarded about any positive comments or hype after the past couple seasons. Regardless there has been a trend of QBs playing better when Canales is involved. Hopefully that is the case here too!

Did Panthers sign Stephon Gilmore too?

Oh no I don’t think he is fake. Reminds me of a more faith and family oriented Pete Carroll. The overly animated personalities are annoying, mainly when they are winning. My dad was a big South Carolina fan so maybe it’s instilled in my head to be turned off by whoever is coaching Clemson. Regardless he is a hell of a coach. Definitely respect what he has done there.
