He looked good early in regular season too. Wide receivers coach must really suck

5 plays analyzed from WFT game worth the watch

Cam favoring middle may have to do with not being confident in his arm to make the outside throws. -
Yes - that was a huge positive from this weekend. He may turn out to be a decent LT for years to come and allow us to draft a center and a guard next year.

I just can't believe that Tepper fell for the fast talking rah-rah stuff.

I disagree with you. There should be accountability. You don't have to rip into your players or coaches, but you don't have to lie either. Fans deserves some level of honesty and accountability.
-
My point is that what if he's like that with the players? Telling them how great they are then not giving them reps, or not making adjustments in coverage, etc. I think Rhule comes across as calculating instead of being direct and honest.

I have almost done a complete 180 on this guy. I used to think he was refreshing but the more I hear him speak in interviews, the more tired I get of all the coach speak. I think eventually it will wear on the players too. If there's anything players hate more than anything is when someone is not honest with them. I'm hoping maybe he just spews out this nonsense with media and that he keeps it real with the players but everything suggests that they can't trust him either.

He looked good but his wind up looks a bit laborious to me. But what do I know....
-
Bit of an overreaction. He had a bad game, but that doesn't make him a bust
-
Cam has to at least attempt a throw on that 4th down but the blame for this loss is on Rhule
-
All of the above

Why not do an option with Cam and CMC last two plays. Dumb playcalling
-
How do you allow a 27th ranked offense to push you around all day? It’s embarrassing and they should all be embarrassed by this performance.
-
Never trust anything that comes out of Rhule’s mouth
-
I just posted an extract audio of the interview. Let me know if you can listen
-
Found a playback of the interview on Sirius XM NFL Radio and able to screen record a clip. He does acknowledge that having two QBs rotating isn’t normally ideal but that this situation is different. listen below RPReplay_Final1637497350.mp3

Literally said it on a radio interview on Sirius XM that he looks at the QB position and rotation like he does with RBs. I expect this may be the new “normal” for the remainder of the season. PJ may come in instead of Cam based on certain defensive looks or packages.

Deep bomb to DJ on a playaction on 1st down.
-
For all the 'classy' things he says to the media, I will always resent and dislike Rivera because he rode Cam into the ground and turned a blind eye to injuries when Cam needed someone to protect him from himself. You can never ask the player to take himself out of the game, that's the coach's responsibility.

It's totally an ego move when you put all of your eggs in one basket and pick up his 5th year option.
-
Darnold is psychologically damaged, it was Rhule’s ego that misled him to believe he could salvage him

Always, Never... you sure like to deal in absolutes

WFT next to be steamrolled, by your New Carolina Panthers.

Not sure if posted before, but Chase Young tore his ACL.
