  1. Don’t know but my best Thanksgiving ever was in 2015
  2. What are the matchups, stats and superlatives? I think this will be a hard game. Bucs are a very balanced team on offense: 7th in total yards per game, 7th in passing, 10th in rushing. Baker is having another career year even better than last year but despite missing his receivers Godwin and Evans. Bucs defense is poor (29th) particularly passing defense, but we’re also depleted in our receiving with Coker and Sanders likely out. Running Chuba is key but their defense is better against the run. (16th) I think this is likely going to require us to score a lot of points to keep up and hopefully the home field advantage tips the scale in our favor. My other concern is our run defense and being able to stop their rookie stud RB Bucky Irving who the Bucs have shifted more carries to recently and he’s averaging 5.4 ypc and knows how to get into the endzone with 5 TDs so far.
  3. 4 games now he’s been back, not 1. He has shown improvement in each one
  4. Once again - nuance is important. One must have adequate arm strength but having a rocket arm is overrated. There’s so much more to playing QB in the NFL.
  5. I can, can you? You lot can’t even acknowledge he is finally looking the part even if it is a limited sample size. Let’s give him a chance to continue to prove himself
  6. Your comprehension skills are at the level of a 6 year old. The topic was the Chiefs game and that somehow 263 yds is pedestrian. Go troll somewhere else
  7. I never said Bryce is a better QB than Delhomme so there’s nothing to defend. Was actually making the point that arm strength is overrated. Peyton Manning had an average arm strength and we all know his career is second only to Brady. .
  8. The floor, really? Lamar Jackson is leading the league with 254 yard per game and you say 263 yards is median level against one of the best defenses in the NFL
  9. I think it’s debatable. I loved Jake and how clutch he was but he threw more ducks than spirals. Bryce throws a better deep ball in my opinion when his mechanics are not out of whack. I stand by that
  10. ok fair enough but we still supported Jake until the 2009 season when the wheels fell off. In response to nonsense about Bryce’s arm being an issue when he’s literally hitting guys deep in stride and Jake was notorious for throwing jump balls that Smitty had to wait for. My example was to show how ridiculous the Bryce hate has gotten that people can’t even admit he actually looked like he can play in the NFL. We just need to see it consistently for the rest of the season
  11. And what did I say that’s unreasonable? I didn’t say he’s made it or that he’s deserving of a second contract but have simply chosen to focus on the positive progression over the last 4 games instead of the same old stuff about his height and arm when neither been an issue as of late. Cheers
  12. The praise was “at least we didn’t lose because of him”
  13. LOL that ball was under thrown and had too much air under it, thanks for proving my point. Moose literally had to slow down. That was actually one of his best throws of career though
  14. I was not knocking Delhomme just used him as an example of a guy who was successful without having much zip on his passes. He was a gunslinger though and he had a good running game, great defense and a future HOF as receiver to help win some games. You guys play revisionist history as if you wouldn’t absolutely trash him if he put up the stats he did right now
  15. Red herring, we’re talking about arm strength not the height or tippy toes. What’s really over the top is your obsession over his height
  16. He was amazing, I think he had like 7 pressures in addition to the sack. Only thing I wish he did was contain Mahomes on that scramble in the end.
  17. I think this is it. More information doesn't mean more informed because they don't know how to process and have zero appreciation for nuanced dialogue.
  18. We were in it because of him. Chiefs stacked the box and dared Bryce to beat them and he stepped up big time. He was not just a game manager on Sunday
  19. He never threw a tight spiral. I'm not dissing Jake but I think people got obsessed with having the next Josh Allen or Cam Newton type of arm. On the other hand, I find Bryce's ability to throw from multiple angles and with a quick release much more impressive than Anthony Richardson's or Will Levis' arm strength with questionable accuracy.
  20. Bryce literally has a stronger arm than Jake Delhomme ever did and nobody complained about Jake throwing wounded ducks to Smitty. This unhealthy obsession with having a rocket arm is just dumb. Bryce threw some beautiful spirals with anticipation and people literally talking nonsense.
  21. This was an emotional game for them. Nobody wants to be a loser and to be able to compete with the reigning champs is an emotional experience. I think Bryce’s speech seems to have been exactly the right time to make sure they continue to believe that they can play against anyone and win any game
  22. Some of y’all must be fun at parties
