Point is that Bryce Young does a hell of a lot more with less since he’s been benched, especially last 3 weeks. Hurts is just a reference point but whatever
-
Still hopeful he didn’t tear his ACL again
-
I watched Jaylen Hurst with Brown and Smith look below average against a 31st ranked defense. Bottom line, some of these plays that Bryce madr only a few special QBs can make.

If you think any QB would be putting up better numbers than Bryce in this offense, you are delusional. Today for the first time I found myself only trusting Bryce as my QB. And if not for a horrible drop, he would have had one of the best 4th quarter game winning drives in Panthers history. 98 yards with the would be TD oass to Legette being an absolute 40 yard dime. People talk about consistency? He has consistently led this team to potential game winning drives 3 weeks in a row. I am beyond excited for Bryce and don’t want anyone to else as my franchise QB.

I thought I was done after week 2 but the Denver game reeled me back in.
-
He’s got the yips, but I’m not giving up with the kid. I think he’ll be good eventually.

Bryce played a good game, outplayed Hurts in this game, just needs more weapons. He was absolutely fearless!
-
Dropped a potentially game winning TD, heartbreaking
-
XL needs to show up

Bryce > Hurts Imagine what Bryce would be doing with two #1 quality receivers like Brown and Smith

How do you lose containment like that

Defense has to find a way to force field goals.

Bryce Young: The NFL's Most Aggressive Quarterback in 2024?
NAS replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
PFF does have our receiving score dead last in the NFL though -
Welp boys... We might actually win Sunday
NAS replied to PleaseCutStewart's topic in Carolina Panthers
Panthers definitely covering now -
According to Next Gen Stats, Young leads the NFL in Aggressiveness (AGG%), a metric that tracks how often a quarterback throws into tight coverage. Meanwhile, Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes sits at the opposite end of the spectrum, ranking as the least aggressive quarterback this season.

Can they keep this Sunday close too?

No way we cover, I think Eagles are too good on both sides of the ball -

It’s amazing we’re even competitive. Sadly I think this will be a blowout -
Dane Bruegler’s pick for Panthers plus a few others in top 10

Agree must be a day 1 impact player -
Agreed, at this point I feel like the chips are in to try and develop XL into a #1 but his catching ability is concerning. Can we trade back for DJ Moore? Lol
-
Same, I was out after Week 2
-
Good #2 or #3 option for depth
-
It just makes me even more pissed that Fitterer traded DJ Moore I would take Higgins or Godwin at $23MM a year but I'm afraid they'll want more.
-
Do you mean our second round pick?

For all the excitement around our young receivers, the Panthers currently rank dead last in receiving score per PFF. Thread is specific to free agent targets at wide receiver to help this offense. Here is a potential list of targets #1 Tee Higgins. He came on strong as a rookie and had back to back 1,000 yd seasons despite being a #2 to Chase. However, his production has fallen off significantly last two years, partly due to injuries. I am not sure if he will be asking for #1 receiver money but I don’t think he’s worth it based on recent production. #2. Chris Godwin Coming off an injury but has familiarity with Canales and his system. He should come cheaper and would add more speed and experience to this receiving core. Anyone else?
