This. Plenty of guys with superior physical traits have failed at the actual of job of playing the position. Most recent example is Trey Lance.

The greats have this confidence coupled with humility. Even Muhammad Ali who came across as boisterous in his media persona is said to have been a very humble and gracious person when dealing with ordinary people on a daily basis. Bryce Young has leadership, confidence, and humility to be successful

This is an excellent podcast IMO and good coverage if you're looking for in depth discussion. Eric Eager thinks Panthers can compete in the playoff this year. Thomas Dimitroff is also very positive about Scott Fitterer and the coaching staff.

I think they’re all more likely to go with Hooker but we’ll see

1. Mayer: our new QB needs more weapons and a pass catching TE is a perfect addition 2. Branch: need depth in the secondary 3. Ojulari: legitimate pass rusher

I wish the kid would get a fair chance but this post is unnecessary attention seeking

Mayer is still available

I hope we just pick best available. Some strong TE’s left too

All that talk about him pre-draft was apparently a smokescreen to get CJ Stroud to drop to them. Vegas and even some here fell for it. I always said I don’t want to touch Levis with a 10 foot pole and I was right. Some rumors now about concerns with Levis having a toe problem but I think it goes deeper than that. I think there are serious concerns about his personality and mentality. CJ Stroud would never drop more than 2-3 picks. Teams leaked his S2 scores to get him to drop but I think he can play and the tape speaks for itself. It may have even been Levis’s camp that was behind the campaign which may have backfired. Levis potentially lying about being told he would go -#1 overall is a major turnoff as well. I think someone will take a chance on Levis in Round 2. Raiders or Titans?

Jalen Carter is the next Warren Sapp

Falcons are dumb, they should have taken Jalen Carter

AR 15 will be a scary QB if he develops into a passer

Richardson will be scary in a few years

Do you think NFL and Roger Goodell want them removing all the excitement prior to the draft. NFL Draft coverage is important to the TV networks, it's just good business. There's no need to tell anyone. This is not the old days where contracts were negotiated even prior to the draft.

It’s like the worst kept secret

I love how much Scott has grown in his role as a GM. He was so nervous and anxious when he first was hired and now he comes across calm and confident. He will do amazing things

Wow what an endorsement

Right it does measure visual processing though.

Once Bryce Young became the Panthers’ expected choice with the first overall pick in the draft, many people installed quarterback C.J. Stroud as the likely choice for the Texans at No. 2 but those odds have shifted in recent days. Stroud is now ranked behind Will Levis and Will Anderson at sportsbooks around the country and one reason cited for the change of opinion is the leak of scores players received after taking the S2 Cognition test. Those unverified leaks put Stroud behind the other top quarterback prospects with a low score — the cofounder of the test said on The Pat McAfee Show this week that the leaked scores are inaccurate for at least two quarterbacks — but Stroud pushed back on the notion that any test would reflect how he’ll fare on the field. It’s football, I’m not a test taker. . . . The people making the picks know what I can do,” Stroud said, via Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press. Stroud is still expected to come off the board early in the draft and the narrative that’s cropped up around him will make his landing spot one of the most closely watched storylines on Thursday night.

More muscle, more problems: How one metric could change NFL training
NAS replied to ladypanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I actually think he was less jacked last year than the previous year when we saw him more ripped than ever and likely contributed to his soft tissue injuries -
This is literally the only QB I could never get behind to be our pick. Not just at #1, at all! I would seriously quit as a fan..

This better be a joke. If they select Levis, it will be worse than Bears selecting Trubisky.
