That is fair, but I think vaccination was probably the difference between Cam getting benched but retained as a backup vs. getting released. Of course, they'll never admit that in public.
-
I think it was a combination of both. If the Pats had prime Cam then lack of vaccination would have been an inconvenience they had to live with. With Mac progressing quickly in camp, they felt comfortable enough to roll with him and Cam's vaccination status was something that may have tipped the scales.

I have a feeling that's a convenient excuse.

Because it's in the Huddle Lounge like a non-football topic. Very disrespectful

So we can't talk about any former Panthers? Why is this getting moved??? We talk about Kuechly, Olsen, Smitty and all others. Why is Cam off limits? @Zodput an end to this nonsense.

Cam, you will always have a special place in our history but you’re having a crisis and need to figure out what you want to do with your life. It’s been a good run, you did some amazing things but it’s time to move on.

Haha if it's a transplant it's actual hair though. No wonder I thought he looked younger last night. Looks like he got some botox too

Ultimately this draft will be judged on how well Darnold and Fields perform respectively for their teams.
-
Nobody is celebrating it, I'm just glad we didn't resign him which is probably what Hurney would've done.

A lot of repressed people in mothers' basements on this forum. Get your own woman lol -
Drew Brees racked up a lot of yards in his career within Sean Peyton's offense doing checkdowns and quick hits. But he also (outside of last couple of years) knew when to go for the big play and keep the defense off balance. That's what I'm expecting from Brady and Darnold.

MVP: Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills Offensive Player of the Year: Christian McCaffrey, RB, Carolina Panthers Defensive Player of the Year: T.J. Watt, OLB, Pittsburgh Steelers Offensive Rookie of the Year: Mac Jones, QB, New England Patriots / Trevor Lawrence, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars Defensive Rookie of the Year: Micah Parsons, LB, Dallas Cowboys Comeback Player of the Year: Saquon Barkley, RB, New York Giants Coach of the Year: Kyle Shanahan, San Francisco 49ers https://www.espn.com/nfl/insider/story/_/id/32161908/nfl-execs-pick-award-winners-2021-predicting-mvp-top-rookies-player-year-honors-comeback-stars-breakouts-more My take: I think Burns has a legitimate chance to be DPOY. Rhule could win coach of the year if he makes the playoffs and resurrects Darnold's career. Darnold or CMC could win comeback player of the year
-
Last week he said either DJ or Zylstra. I think CMC doesn't make sense.
-
I thought Saunders did a good job, but I guess he's not worth one of those TE roster spots.

Doesn’t matter, needs to earn his stripes anyway -
Disappointing…I thought Fitt would surely sign him

I don’t have a problem with checkdowns if they’re the best or only option. Problem with Teddy is he would opt foe the checkdown even when he had time and options down field.
