Can't blame him in the slightest.

Anyone here that didn't want Stafford... lol.

Neither of them do, but unfortunately one of them will.

Even took him like 6 tries to tuck his mouthpiece into his facemask.

From a couple of days ago... I laughed

Panthers conducting 2nd interview with Jay Gruden today

Thought he showed plenty of ability and promise, like a more dynamic Jeff King; quality blocker, reliable hands, just finds ways to get open. Hopefully whoever runs the show next can maximize his blocking and receiving talents

If the objective truly is winning then keeping Rhule for money reasons is looking like a major 'penny wise, pound foolish' approach if the money is indeed a bug factor. Plus, it's no one's fault but Tepper's for giving that contract in the first place. If the money is indeed a large factor he should swallow the bitter pill, cut the sunk cost, and move on.

Final Defensive Rankings for the 2021 Carolina Panthers
KSpan replied to trueblade's topic in Carolina Panthers
The offensive ineptitude and turnovers definitely skewed the yards allowed stats. The defense faded hard once Dallas exposed the weakness in the running game and Carolina couldn't stop anyone as the season went along, allowing 27 or more points 7 times in the last 8 games (only the Taysom Hill-led Saints scored fewer...), more than 30 points in 6 of those 7 and more than 40 in the final game. -
Of all the O positions to suck at, center ain't it. Agreed that it's tough to fully judge since OL is so reliant on each other but Elflein is just not very good, and without star guards next to him should definitively be in line for replacement.

To paraphrase, "We lost more games in the NFL because of poor technique, than poor scheme" was a really interesting comment.

Prescott praises Cowboy fans who threw bottles and debris at refs
KSpan replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
What a loser. -
About to? I'd say it's already there.

God I hate the Cowboys. Not the same type of hatred as for the Saints and Falcons, but hatred nonetheless.

He's going to have some more growing pains but the guy just gives off gamer vibes and passes the eye test thus far.
-
Damn... how long has it been since we saw safety play like that in Carolina?

Report: Watson and Flores could link up in New York
KSpan replied to FuFuLamePoo's topic in Carolina Panthers
And after 2018 if Tepper had moved on from Rivera like he should have. I'm fairly neutral about Flores but would take him over Rhule any day. -
These points are a sunken cost fallacy. What's done is done but leaving Rhule in place means no development for players currently here or other organizational improvements, and that's the main reason ditching him now appears the right move. The lack of winning is front and center but Rhule's most egregious failures are the crappy roster moves, lack of strategic aptitude, and overall team regression during his tenure. Any coach that comes in and actually shows progress on the latter 3 retains their job even if the winning slowly comes, and all 3 are achievable in most any circumstance... pretty simple.

Multiple analysts ridiculing Rhule's comments
KSpan replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Agree completely on the first points but still disagree on the last. He was very clearly a tackle and even if he did end up a guard, how epically awful wanted guard play this year? I simply can't feel good about his comments and the implications toward their ability to evaluate talent and see the big picture.
