  1. Do you report it? Their eyes can't be everywhere, and everyone has a different opinion of what is tolerable.
  2. I don't know what you are embarrassed about? People get down in down times. It's natural. Maybe give some examples of what you deem so bad? Maybe I am not paying as much attention, but I don't think the sky is falling. You say you don't start threads anymore. Why not try to be the change you want to see in the world?
  3. Just seems you skewed the numbers on height and weight to fit the narrative. Update bros Wikipedia page if you are so sure? They inflate sizes in a lot of sports. I don't think Young is the only one getting a favorable measurement. I just hope the guy is ready for the jump.
  4. Funny how you gave Perkins an inch and took one away from Bryce lol You know how they talk about the speed of the game in the NFL being faster? Those tacklers looked like they were moving in slow motion. I just hope dude is prepared for actual impact.
  5. I mean, it doesn't look bad, but it is concerning it is so short. Looks like some of those guys weren't even really trying to tackle him. I don't know how long he will last trying to play like that with some actual hitters out there. Good luck to him, though. At least it is something to get excited about.
  6. Clowney wasn't putting in his best effort around here imo. There's a reason he bounces around the league.
  7. Let's be optimistic. It's free. He kinda sucked against the Browns in preseason. If you just look at the stat sheet, it isn't even that bad. Nothing to freak out about imo.
  8. That is a better idea than PJ in my opinion.
  9. QB3 could be filled by someone with more potential just as cheap. As @jfra78 said, Dalton would cost more to cut. He was signed because he clicks with Bryce. Just from a random Google search, I would entertain someone like Will Rogers before I would sign PJ again.
  10. I feel like if you are seriously looking at PJ, there are a lot better and younger options.
  11. That's one game. I admit he didn't wow anyone, but there are a lot of factors. He was decently accurate. We weren't throwing to win, and that could be play calling. He could also just not care that much because it is preseason and he has the experience to know that.
  12. I still think we could replace Plummer with a better option than PJ that would also be cheap. Plenty of guys didn't make it out of the draft and Dan Morgan seems to have a knack for finding UDFA dawgs.
  13. Dude is talking about replacing him with PJ, who has terrible stats in a lesser league. I would consider that an insult if I were Dalton.
  14. Dalton was fine when we extended him. He is fine now. He is certainly better than PJ statistically right now.
  15. I don't think he was ever signed for his ability to save us. He was paid because he clicks with Bryce.
  16. I just looked up his stats and it looks like he is doing terrible in the CFL too. Last two games he had a 54.1% and a 42.9% completion rate. 3 interceptions and 1 TD. Dalton was at 68.4% completion (higher than his career average) and you want him hung for it.
  17. Yeah, but why? Why entertain a guy like PJ? He's not the future. We'd be lucky if he was the present. If Bryce goes down or proves himself unworthy, we are looking forward to next year.
  18. This is just crazy. I'm not saying Dalton wowed his last outing, but that's not what Dalton does. Dalton is essentially a game manager at this point, and his stat sheet didn't look that bad. We just didn't seem to want to win, but that could have been play calling. I am all for upgrading positions, but I don't think backup QB is a crazy need. I tend to be optimistic, though. If we are relying on Dalton at any point long term in this season, do we really want to keep winning?
  19. I don't disagree. I would just rather the kids deal with something like that when you are around to guide them or set an example than being thrown out into the world and the first time they see something like that, they panic. Sounds like you are doing a great job, and I am generalizing here. Not attacking you or anything like that. Balance in all things. Helicopter parents have their heart in the right place, just doesn't prepare them for the real world in my opinion.
  20. I value off the field more than most. I guess, the best example I can think of is someone like Greg Olsen. I know he does a lot of charitable work, and I appreciate that. I am not following him on social media trying to see what he is doing next with the HEARTest Yard, though. I care about football. As long as they aren't being a detriment to society, I am generally happy. If they are positively contributing, even better. If they aren't contributing on the field, though, I just don't really care. Off the field should be more important, but I am honest.
  21. That kind of thing can happen anywhere. People are wild. Can't shield them from the world. Gotta take them somewhere. Better to happen when you are around in my opinion.
  22. Because it is practice and they want to protect their own. We would likely do the same if they, for example, blasted TMac after a catch. It's biased, but that's just how it is. You only get mad on the receiving end.
  23. It is definitely important. I am with you on that. I don't want bad people anywhere near my team. I am a big locker room type guy. My point is, there are plenty of good people out in the world for us to be interested in. We are here for football. In this setting, they have to be good at that first in my opinion. If they are a trash human, that does outweigh it all for me, though.
