How many of those games were against pac-12/big-12 teams with no defense? Not trying to make that the rule out factor (for both you and the other guy), but I care less about what you do against ranked opponents and more against talented DBs

I think I'm in the minority and hope I'm wrong if we take him, but I'm not big on McMillan. Very worried about his speed and whether he will be able to get open in the NFL, especially if pressed by opposing corners

I honestly like tremble - I think him and Sanders can be a good enough 1/2 punch at TE for us. I think our offense is good enough outside of needing an obvious #1 receiver and some o-line depth (especially if we are planning the move on from motion).

Was sad we couldn't sign Luvu, but still don't really miss Chinn. Dude regressed each year for us after his rookie year and still hard to find a position for him because of his build and terrible coverage skills. He's done well tackling for Washington, but the dude is still ass in coverage

Crazy to think that it took him being benched and humbled to turn it around. Only concern I have is if he somehow reverts back to week 1 & 2 next season. But impressed with the way he played after his benching in every game, outside of the Cowboys games where pretty much everyone on the team looked like ass.

This is why I wanted us to extend him last offseason. His value was at an all-time low because of injuries, so it seemed worth the risk to offer him a 3-4 year extension when we could get it on the super cheap.

He still graded out average on PFF, so nothing spectacular. Honestly haven't seen him play this year, but maybe he put on enough muscle with Washington to play the in the box safety/weak side lb

Last year, our defense was on the field about 2/3 of the game because of how inept our offense was. Not to mention that opposing teams were often starting on our half of the field. I think they did pretty well overall considering the hand they were dealt. And not sure that list of players is anything great (besides DB), although they are definitely much better than the turds we got to replace them. Burns clearly quit on the team last year and was just going through the motions, Luvu was great as a pass rusher, but pretty bad as a run stopper and in coverage, and Chinn just doesn't have a spot in the NFL to be good at unless he bulks up big time (too terrible in coverage to play safety/nickel, too small to play LB). And honestly, I think our sack numbers were low last year because teams just didn't need to throw the ball because they knew we couldn't score. That's why we were ranked near the top in passing yards allowed when we weren't really good in coverage.

Can't believe I am saying this, but I was impressed with Sanders Sunday. If we do keep him, we need to have him line up out wide more - he made some pretty solid catches for a RB and seemed to run good routes. Maybe even run some dual backfield plays with him and Chuba back there.

Agreed. Honestly think Luther Burden is the only WR I would take in the 1st round, and even that would be in the mid 10s at the earliest

To think we would magically be a top 15 defense with a different DC is why i think people are moronic. I literally said evero hasn't been a great DC for us - I'm just laughing at the idiots that think we are magically going to be a good defense hiring somebody else when most of our defense is made up of UDFAs And the falcons may have had 3 or 4 3rd and longs the entire game (obvious passing downs). The problem is we give up so many yards on 1st and 2nd down on run plays that if we somehow hold them to third down, they usually only have 1-3 yards to get. And bracketing a receiver is just an obvious audible for the offense to just run it off tackle the opposite way (especially if they are ISOing the wr to one side of the field). And seeing how we can't stop the run even when we stack the box, I imagine that would go for minimum 10 yards when the offense has numbers blocking us...

Doubling a WR with how awful our front 7 was? Sure, let's do that and let other teams run for 300 yards against us... Things like stunts, doubling WRs, exotic blitzes are things you do when you can stop a basic dive play without allowing 6+ yards. But when other teams could literally just call run plays the entire game and probably score every possession, your hands are pretty much tied. Am I saying Evero is a great DC... no (at least not for us so far). But people thinking that we would somehow be a much better defense with any other DC are just morons... Horn is literally the only player on our defense that starts for any other team and there may be 2-3 other players that could make the active roster of any other team. Over half of our defense was at their best practice squad players and at their worst scout team JV players...
