  1. Pj not looking crisp right now, need to get him a few easy throws to get him in a groove
  2. sign matt ryan? Why? Look, we're either tanking or making a run at the NFC south because it sucks, both of those scenarios are best done by the guys on our roster. We tank because our roster sucks, OR, we go on a run because the guys in the locker room rally around each other, and bringing in a guy from outside the building would do nothing but hurt the chemistry that it seems these guys are building. TLDR : Ride with what we got.
  3. I'd even say without, he was 4 losses behind the 8 ball, so I won't hold it against him. Standard for Wilks is the same as rhule, playoffs or no deal.
  4. I atleast knew that the saints would be fuging terrible. That team is old as fug and coached by a moron.
  5. I was excited until I heard what we traded....I mean soo much for a rebuild, our team will be trash forever.
  6. I agree, but if he comes in with a young forward looking oc, I think its fine. I mean, Sean Payton isn't young either, it will depend on who he puts around him.
  7. Of all the names tossed around for our head coaching vacancy, this name is one we should keep top of our lists. This guy was dealt the turdiest of turd hands last year when Jon Gruden was fired for being a piece of poo. He not only kept the team together, they thrived, made the playoffs and made a hell of a run at the eventual afc champs. I really believe he deserves a nfl coaching job and he would help establish a culture here. What's everyone else's opinion on him being a name for us to look into?
  8. You are correct, and I agree, but he's not wholly terrible is all I'm saying. He isn't good at what we're asking him to do and he's average when he does the things he does do well. That's all I'm saying. For instance, he would be a phenomenal backup, or maybe a starter for the titans, they could build In a ton of play action and bootlegs for him to succeed. So essentially the question of is he good enough to be a backup...sure, definitely sure in the right situation.
  9. I'll get pood, but I'd say he's alright, but the offense has to be tailored to him. Basically, what they did in Cleveland, the high Play action and the roll outs that get him away from being behind the line and open up more passing lanes for him. I don't think his ceiling is high, but that's what it'd take. Fwiw, there's a lot of qbs who need systems that fit their skill set. Cam wouldn't have thrived running timing based wco, and drew Brees would have died trying to run the Coryell offense with him often as a runner, so scheme is important. I think macadoos lack of scheme shows a fundamental inability to adjust to personel.
  10. If macadoos offense was a spice, it'd be flour.
  11. 14 of those were defensive, and also this team has an all world running back and decent recievers, 2010 didnt have that. The comparisons between the 2 are fair.
  12. I believe if he put his mind to it, Baker could have a handoff get batted down.
  13. oh no, they're booing, robbie anderson is gonna be so sad...
  14. Remember when tepper said he wanted to get a rockstar OC...
  15. Im really happy we signed d'onta foreman for just those kind of down and distance so we could not use him. its pretty much my favorite.
  16. I wasnt sure about the thread that said the team was playing for rhule, but the game ball going to him does make me think hes well liked in the locker room. wont save his job if he continues to fail, but atleast it seems like the guys do support him.
  17. Baker has sucked, but God the play design has been beyond abysmal. The receiver routes have been incredibly stupid and that's play design.
