  1. I wanted stafford, but I will say, We're gonna find out REAL quick if McVay is the genius everyone made him out to be. Jared goff for his faults has been between 4000 and 4500 yards per season the last 4 years and has a 2:1 TD/INT ratio. he clearly was on pace to be a franchise QB and the rams have been kind of a dumpster fire, so I absolutely could see them having fuged this up too.
  2. I'm not saying Brady wasn't at fault and I don't think that he's some sort of messiah, he screwed up a ton this year, but the players and coaches giving interviews use "coachspeak" for a reason. Easy answer was "there were some issues towards the end of the game, but we all gotta be better in those situations so in the future we walk away with a win". Simple, that's the coach speak answer, saying your coach wasn't getting the calls in on time is going out of your way to make that publicly known where as usually that is an internal matter. just to reiterate, Its not that he's not right, he most likely is, but answers like that rub coaches the wrong way.
  3. I was on the teddy bandwagon early, but the day he threw joe brady under the bus, I knew he was done here. As an average qb, you cant do that and think you'll be fine even if you are right.
  4. I also wouldn't want to trade 8 for Stafford straight up, BUT, If we gave them 8 and we got their 2nd and Stafford, I think I'd prlly do it. I do think Stafford has some good years left, and I don't care how many picks Detroit has, they are one of the worst run teams in the NFL and only rivaled by some of the most dysfunctional organizations in recent history, and as bad as the panthers have been, we're in NO WAY nearly as screwed up as they are.
  5. I made a post about that yesterday during the game, and as well as Remmers, Daryl williams was starting for the Bills and did very well this year, and both QB's not only did well, but exceeded in their respective situations meaning that a huge portion of the problem was maybe we were asking too much of the Line for the archaic system we ran and yes Cam Newton also held onto the ball too long.
  6. While its sore, there's zero chance, ZERO that rodgers is playing for anyone besides the packers next years. Even if Rodgers refuses to play, the team would be CRAZY to let him off the hook and look like the bad guy, its more likely they would hold onto him and let love start while Rodgers holds out, and even that is VERY unlikely. Watson is an unfixable situation where the organization is desperate to gain draft capital in order to become relevant the packers are NOT that.
  7. Just realized Mike Remmers for the Chiefs and Daryl Williams starting for the bills, not saying it is the case, but We've said for a while that our OL situations were always terrible and caused terrible QB play, and in many ways I still agree, but its also possible to point out that even with parts that we have had its possible to have a QB still compete at an elite level and or better utilize those parts so they are able to succeed instead of running Riveras 1930 style of football.
  8. FWIW, this is the play I always remember for Stafford, wouldn't mind having him here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rvIwyikbRU
  9. If its involved in getting Watson, sure. If not, No way. CMC is here to be part of the rebuild but watson would be a piece worth moving on from him for.
  10. I get that and understand where your coming from, but IMO its not a great comparison because of the fact that we've seen what Tannehill can do with a less than stellar roster in Miami, and at his peak there, 4200 yards, 27 tds, 12 INTS, thats a far stretch from the season that Watson just put out with a crappy roster in 4800 yds, 33 tds, 7 INT. Tannehill had a good season, but without Henry as a threat, his playaction which made up a lot of his big pass plays, his stats would look dramatically different, and most likely look a lot like the seasons he had in Miami.
  11. Awesome, I love it, the dark theme is so much easier on my eyes.
  12. Odds for the hornets to land the #3 pick and Lamelo ball was almost non-existent, yet here we are. With as much as I'm sure Tep will want it, you can bet the sink will be thrown at this deal.
  13. If it costs us trading CMC to get watson, YOU DO IT. As we have seen, even having a generational RB will at most get you a couple playoff appearances (See Minnesota and Tennessee). You HAVE to have an elite level QB if you want to win a superbowl.
  14. I'm shocked we're going for 2, obviously something the cardinals did pissed the panthers off.
  15. Anyone want to argue that Palmer is nothing more than an Average QB? We are witnessing Delhomme 2.0 right now.
  16. With TD's injury, and Manning's want to throw to TE's, Gettleman is looking like a savant for that pick.
  17. He's had a few dimes this year (the inch next to a helmet to Dickson comes to mind), but nothing comes close to that one. That might be his best throw of the season.
  18. I can't agree here, the Cards goal line D has been money today, get the points and make them force for TD's. We got this.
