  1. It would just be the next new contract and pay him or trade him debate.
  2. That's a good point. Went to Sun Valley, right down the road from Charlotte.
  3. Dan Patrick mentioned today that after all the hype and anticipation of getting Moore, they threw 3 times to him. It's just a bad team from top to bottom.
  4. Don't feel too bad for Jets fans. They have the 2nd pick in the draft from just a couple of years ago to lead them. Got it made.
  5. Might be a career-ender. A high ankle sprain would be difficult enough, but a lis franc or broken ankle/foot might mean calling it a day.
  6. That's too bad if he's seriously hurt. I'm sure many people just decided he didn't feel like playing tonight though.
  7. He's keeping that urgent care office from shutting down too.
  8. If the team already is terrible, it doesn't set them back at all! I mean the Browns have had 4 winning seasons since 1990. We have still have a ways to go to catch up.
  9. Henderson vs those Dolphin receivers is not an appealing matchup at all.
  10. I think their coach, who came from the Titans, has brought over some of the same concepts. Run centric, game manager qb, ball control.
  11. I'm on the SC coast in Charleston and I've seen similar. I will say that SC fans are far more invested in Clemson-USC, and college football/SEC more than NFL. That said, 1 of the local tv stations here airs the Jags Sunday show, and Panthers and Falcons are both broadcast on the radio. When the team is good, there is more participation and fan presence though.
  12. Of course things change. My favorite Panther team was the 2005 team. That was a Superbowl caliber team. Shut out the Giants on the road in the playoffs. Then beat the doors off the Bears in Chicago. Went to Seattle for the NFC championship game with just Smith and Goings, and Morgan playing with a shoulder harness. Smith was a cheat code that entire season. That team had grit and character and skill. There have been other years where they have been good, and years where it's so-so, and then some absolute garbage. You don't get excited for the garbage, but this current streak is really getting tiresome.

  14. I don't disagree. I said he is not worth that contract, but..seems like that's how the market is going these days.
  15. Have the Cowboys made their pants more blue? Or am I just misremembering it? The other colors all appear fine.
  16. He is not worth that contract at all, but what was the alternative? We've seen 1st hand that market and it is certainly buyer beware.
  17. I'm not singling you out, but when are we done with TMJ? When he was drafted everyone had stars in their eyes and "he was going to take someone's job soon." It's way past time and he is what he is.
  18. To your point on the running game, I think our line is a little better at run blocking.
  19. I can't say I'm excited about seeing Lattimore controlling the sky next week, while Jordan and pals make it difficult up front. Maybe we go back to old-leatherhead style and just run run run. Install the wishbone this week.
  20. If there is a strength to Atlanta's defense, it is the secondary. New Orleans is a little more well-rounded, and more experienced, and should present a tougher test.
