Congrats to @roaringriot….. this is pretty awesome
PanthersATL replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Exactly. Target audience could be small biz sales team reward trip vs trying to figure out how to send them for a week to Hawaii I'm going to guess that the Riot crew received Very Specific Inquiries about whether they could help arrange something like this in the past, indicating there's enough interest to make it happen officially. And maybe (maybe, maybe) they've already done some one-offs to prove it can work? Looking forward to seeing their continued success -

Panthers traditionally have some good ones Thinking we'll see the usual Techmo Bowl or Street Fighter video game parodies, but what do you think will be new? Hopefully we won't see Nashvilles "name the logo part 3". While funny as heck, it's been done

If Bryce doesn’t produce, we moving on?
PanthersATL replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Counterpoint: Darnold wasn't great when he played for us; under different management he turned into gold Similar situation for Mayfield. Wasn't great here, ended up being good down in Tampa Bryce has proven to have skills, but had horrible coaching in year one. Year two shows what coaching changes can do. Sometimes it's not the player per se, but what/who the player is surrounded by that makes the difference -
If Bryce doesn’t produce, we moving on?
PanthersATL replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Last off-season: Bryce says he spent the time avoiding football while hanging out with family, playing video games, and shopping. After the rookie season he had, it was probably what he needed to do to get his mind off what happened This off-season: he was playing catch with T-Mac in January and called in to D&D to say, "let's do this". I think we're going to see a different, confident/improved Bryce this year than folks are expecting when compared to how he came in at the start of year 2 -
NFL analysts confirm Panthers GM Dan Morgan committed draft larceny Dan Morgan had a decent collection of picks during the 2025 NFL Draft. That doesn’t always guarantee success, but the Carolina Panthers general manager emerged from his second selection process with significant credit. Morgan played his draft board masterfully. He struck with conviction when opportunities arose, and brought high-character individuals into the organization who should fit seamlessly into head coach Dave Canales’ culture shift. Each draft pick and undrafted free agent must prove themselves in an NFL setting, but fans were thrilled with the haul. The Athletic has us ranked 28th on their post-draft power rankings, mainly due to us picking T-Mc instead of defense in round 1. They recognize we needed WR help, but... https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6317651/2025/04/29/nfl-power-rankings-post-draft-rookies-eagles-chiefs-bills/

An alternativd: Bluesky has a growing Panthers community and NFL coverage

"Bryce was throwing absolute dimes on third down. They just weren't caught." Gives a little more insight on what D&D's vision is on the Off rebuild
-
"The receiver group was bad last year. TMac on 3d down had 2nd most conversions in all of college football, zero drops. The Panthers didn't have a receiver in the top 45 in terms of conversions on third down. [Tmac] is reliable, and a gigantic target for Bryce. He's a home run"

Mina gives us a good draft review. ("I like their draft as a whole") (segment starts at 15:42)

The Teps appear to be super hands off in the D&D world compared to earlier. The drink incident seems to be The turning point Nothing wrong with "I'm the owner, welcome to the team, here's Coach" Compared to, let's say, Dallas draft videos where Jerry is front and center? Tep is almost an afterthought The full Draft Confidential, if it's released, will tell us more.

Gauging value of Panthers day 2 trades
PanthersATL replied to Peon Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
One analyst referred to our first trade up as "Carolina traded a bag of Doritos to get their pick" (this was intended as a compliment on the difference in the trade items being essentially zero)
