  1. it's one reason I'm not a fan of Arthur Blank with the Falcons. I don't want my team owner walking around on the sidelines during a game, or pushing the QB's wheelchair around. Let the team and team management do their jobs during the game, then stick your nose into the post-game locker room to say "good job". No need to micromanage on the field during those 60 minutes. (on the other hand, as team owners go - he did do a pretty okay job with the MB stadium food policies, and atlanta united games are kinda fun. But for his NFL antics? Not a fan at all. It's like he took a cue from Dallas Jerry.)
  2. A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer in the pants sorry, Troy. Ya gotta play the schedule you’re given. And the NFL is pretty open about what the line ups will be year by year. It’s not like it can be easily manipulated to make some paths easier than others.
  3. Switched to the Tony Awards. whatd he say?
  4. It may be a fluke game, or it may not be. Still, today's action makes me feel a whole lot better about those two back to back TB games we have at the end of the season. (I reserve the right to go back to full-on concern 10 games from now)
  5. admittedly, Gronk's commercials are pretty entertaining.
  6. Close, but not quite. You can't do the math on the ranking number, but you have to use the household/population figure. Just adding Charlote+Raleigh would put "Carolina" at 13.5, between Seattle and Minnesota. A bit better than your #15 suggestion
  7. I'll dig up the 1998 numbers eventually. In the meantime, 2006 numbers show: Charlotte was #26, ahead of San Diego (27), KC (31), Buffalo (49), Jacksonville (52) Adding in High Point would put the area in-between Seattle (14) and Minneapolis (15) still not "small town" in terms of TV market size.
  8. I think Fitt and Rhule have earned enough good-will from the fans this year (off-season/draft/now) to let them kick some tires on the car lot before committing to a decision
  9. [note: original post did not highlighting] All our fans should get out of the mindset of promoting the incorrect perception of the Panthers being in a "small market". Charlotte by itself is TV market #22, ahead of other cities with NFL teams like St Louis (23), Indy (25), Pittsburgh (26), Vegas (40), Jacksonville (43), New Orleans (50). If you include Greenville/Spartanburg -- the panthers would be #12 just ahead of Phoenix and Seattle. Throw in High Point/ Winston-Salem and we're ranked between San Francisco and Dallas. Saying "small town" just isn't accurate when you compare the "Carolina" marketing area to other parts of the country.
  10. ...That the stadium graphics departments would know the correct names of the teams in the NFL
  11. Rev Runs performance was pretty mainstream Opened with I Love Rock n Roll. Tricky and Walk this Way closed the four+ song set. Low key production values, obviously. Still, fun.
  12. This weeks INSIDE THE NFL summed up the saints game with basically three sentences: “jameis Winston entered the game with 5 touchdown passes this season. He left the game wi5 5 touchdown passes for the season. And CMC had a good game. “ (show next clip package) Didn’t watch The WhoLe show, but it looked like they spent 15m on the Rams game.
  13. I believe that was the last game of the season, number 16. somebody check my notes, probably wrong.
  14. Espn2 just said that Tyrod Taylor has been ruled out for Thursday… hamstring. don’t know if this is NEW news or if we knew it already.
  15. Did somebody say butt implants? (from today's news) https://www.thedailybeast.com/mom-and-daughter-libby-adame-alicia-galaz-killed-adult-star-karissa-rajpaul-with-butt-implants-lapd-says
