    Hornets put up a good fight but have to learn to finish. Silver lining is the young bench players are getting much needed playing time and valuable experience.

    Great breakdown of the dead money although Diontae Johnson was signed by Morgan. But you’re right - tremendous job by Tillis and hope this is a sign that Tepper is backing away and letting the experts stir the ship.

    I hear ya but we’re not getting Higgins. Better off getting our potential #1 WR in the draft. We desperately need to improve our D.

    They were blatantly holding the whole drive. Looked like a block in the back on Fuller during that tunnel screen to Shepard also.

    Bad position. Penalties and dropped passes. We had a golden opportunity to keep our momentum going. Hope it doesn’t bite us in the end.

    OL run blocking so-so today. Pass blocking is on point. And Bryce with another brilliant decision for a TD!

    Both OL haven’t played that as well as they should. Credit to the defenses though.

    I’m with you on OL. If we remain in the top 5 certainly any blue chip prospect including OT. I’m just not sold on Icky’s ability to protect Young’s blindside consistently. First prefer would be help along DL or Edge, but if OT is BPA we should definitely be given serious consideration .

    Kinda meh on this one. Though I have to admit I can’t think of a better alternative.

    I’d think long and hard before extending Ickey. I think we can upgrade the LT position at some point.

    I’m thinking we split with the Bucs, beat the Cowboys and pull out close ones over either the Cardinals or Falcons. For FA we should do everything we can to get Azeez Ojulari to bolster our pass rush.

    Agreed except I’m not giving up on Tremble just yet. He’s a young player and has made enough plays IMO to see what he can do in this offense next season. Thomas has stolen enough money from us; he can kick rocks.

    Some of us may forget when Drew Brees “wasn’t” the great QB we faced in New Orleans. Prior to his HOF career, he was an afterthought in Dan Diego that was particularly liked by his coach Marty Schottenheimer. But we all see how that turned out. Bryce may never be the 2nd coming of Brees but let’s give him and the staff time to help him reach his potential.

    Here’s another that we fans should keep in mind: Sometimes greatness takes time. Mahomes had the benefit of sitting a season behind Alex Smith after the Chiefs traded up to take him with the 10th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Young, last year’s top pick, started 16 games as a rookie, going 2-14, absorbing 62 sacks and posting the league’s worst passer rating.

    We could easily pick apart yesterday’s game: dropped passes, blown coverages, bad tackling and red zone issues to name a few. But it was clear that this wasn’t the same team from earlier in the season. They fought back and hung with the champs until the end. That’s what I was excited to see and it gives me hope that we’re on the right track.
