  1. We traded next year’s 2nd rounder to the Jets for Darnold. Would be nice to have two young potential shut down corners though.
  2. Hum-diddle-DEE-DEE!!! Eric Collins is gonna go crazy calling Hornets’ games this season with all this high flying young talent.
  3. Probably but trading down that far would’ve certainly taken us out the Horn sweepstakes. Based on what we know, once Sewell was gone it was gonna be Horn all the way.
  4. Disappointed to hear this. I really thought he had a future with the Panthers. Wish we could know what happened to have changed their minds about him. Hope he has a chance to find another team and wish him well.
  5. He’d been with the Panthers’ media for 18 years. I guess with the new ownership and incoming regime, he decided on a career change.
  6. Just Googled him. Mike Craft became a HS coach at Phillip O Berry when he left the Panthers in 2018. He’s been a teacher and offensive coach at Rocky River HS since June 2019.
  7. We’d probably have to throw in another player and/or draft pick to make that work.
  8. Talk about reading between the lines Thomas has been such a disappointment. I really expected him to be one of the few late round Hurney picks to make it here.
  9. My projected starting OL: Erving, Daley, Paradis, Miller and Moton. I don’t think our future LT is on the roster yet. It appears Christensen is being groomed to take over one of the G spots at some point.
  10. Yeah still at the Lions but certainly can’t blame them. We did the same thing to the Saints when we scooped Marshall
  11. Naturally I’d rather have Pro-Bowlers at both T spots but I see your point
  12. Pelicans to add Devonte' Graham via sign-and-trade with Hornets: Sources The New Orleans Pelicans are acquiring Charlotte Hornets restricted free agent Devonte' Graham in a sign-and-trade deal, Graham's agents Austin Brown and Ty Sullivan told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. The deal is worth $47 million over four years. New Orleans is sending Charlotte its 2022 lottery-protected first round pick, sources said. Graham became the odd man out in Charlotte with LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier grabbed the majority of the point guard minutes and gets a fresh start with New Orleans. Graham, 26, had a breakout season with Charlotte in 2018-19 averaging 18.2 points and 7.5 assists in 63 games. He finished fifth in the NBA's Most Improved Player voting -- an award won by his new teammate Brandon Ingram. After the Hornets drafted Ball, Graham was used in a variety of different ways -- sometimes starting with Rozier and Ball while also coming off the bench late in the season -- but his production slightly dipped to 14.8 points and 5.4 assists per game. Graham's never shot higher than 40 percent from the field in any season but he's been a steady three-point shooter the last two seasons at 37.3 percent in 2019-20 and 37.5 percent last season. His 218 makes from deep two seasons ago ranked fifth in the NBA. According to Second Spectrum, Graham shot 42.6 percent on catch-and-shoot 3-pointers last season, a mark that was ninth out of 62 NBA players who shot at least four catch-and-shoot 3-pointers a game. Graham went from 210 catch-and-shoot 3s two years ago to 296 last season, shifting more as the Hornets played with LaMelo Ball controlling the show. Graham could step into a starting role in New Orleans to replace Lonzo Ball, who agreed to a deal with the Chicago Bulls. espn.com
  13. Not necessarily. I just believe it’s best to play to the strength of your players. Moton can be a good LT but has Pro Bowl potential at his natural RT spot. However, if he’s head and shoulders above anyone we could possibly put on the left (and at this point that’s a real possibility), then I’m all for it.
  14. Yes…the traditional commercial break whenever a Carolina team is on the clock!
  15. OKC just upset the apple cart. Memphis supposedly traded with the Pelicans for a chance to draft him.
  16. good one. I think Brown is coming in motivated. He'll be a nice development project and decent depth for the IOL.
  17. I’m on the fence about Donte Jackson too. Not sure if we’d be better off cost-wise letting him walk in favor of what we have already with Bouye, Pride etc. or wait to upgrade next offseason.
  18. DJ most certainly. Paradis? I can’t see that one due to age and injury history. We can sign or draft his replacement next year if we haven’t already.
  19. Done https://www.panthers.com/news/panthers-agree-to-terms-with-tommy-tremble
  20. 1) Wish I could say ‘yes’ but have to agree until we see different 2) I suspect they’re grooming him for one of the G spots but it’s an unknown at this point 3) Chinn will probably spend more time in hybrid SS/ LB role with more blitz responsibilities, so keeping him healthy is definitely a priority 4) Amen to that 5) That’s the big mystery. In addition to getting the OL solved, coaching him out of some bad habits and not putting pressure on him to do to much which they seem committed to do.
  21. Nice pics sir. And the ensemble is fire. Thanks for sharing!
