Greg is not going to dump on the QB. Not his style to berate one individual.

To those who watched all 4th quarters: why?
45catfan replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Eh, I just committed to ranting on here and made my wife watch it. -
Bryce is a great dude. I'm sure he'd make a heck of a coach some day. He's just not cut out to play in the NFL. Being physically limited was okay in high school. At 'Bama he had one of the best rosters in the country to support him. Now, he's on a limited roster and the defenses he faces every week are like him facing Georgia's D every game. The odds finally caught up to Young of being undersized when it comes to playing at the highest level of football.

100% on Bryce. Slow delivery, stared down his target, late on the throw, no zip on the pass, did not lead his man. So how is this not Bryce's fault again?
-
Coping. Mingo is open in the first frame and Bryce already has the ball cocked. By the time he releases the ball, not only has the DB made up ground, but the ball is behind Mingo. You are supposed to LEAD your WR when the DB is in his hip pocket on crossing routes. Or was that one of his patented 'back shoulder' throws, lol?
-
Can someone pull up the 3rd and 3 when where Mingo was on a drag route--wide open--and Bryce immediately swung the ball to the outside.
-
I doubt it too, because it would be the smart thing to do. We know this organization under David Tepper doesn't do smart things.
-
Against the #2 defense in the League. Only three points less than against the garbage defenses we saw the past three weeks.
-
He could have if he played QB today.
-
You all know Tepper was the diving force behind the Young pick. Never before did the S2 test get so much hype. You think that was the coaches, lol?
-
Nah, he had the arm to make teams think twice about stacking the box. I've said it before, no NFL defense is scared of Bryce's arm.
-
Yup, he doesn't have the touch or arm strength to drive the ball into tight windows. Both attributes are KEY to being a successful NFL QB.
-
It's their way of not running up the score without just handing the ball off for three straight downs. Respect.

At the rate of Bryce Young? He's not only missing the passes, he's not seeing the open guys. Are these other Qbs starters or backups? I agree, some of the backup QBs have looked awful this year.
-
Funniest thing I heard all day was the "back shoulder" pass that Bryce actually completed. A back shoulder throw is just that a pass aimed at the opposing shoulder of the WR. THAT completion was an obvious under-thrown ball that the WR had to completely turn around and wait for. Back shoulder throw, lol!!!
-
Missing wide open targets is a nuance I guess.
-
Ding, ding, ding...we have a winner!
-
Why? This is where Bryce shines. Without the garbage time stats, even his most ardent supporters wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
-
Dude will kill in the arena league though.
-
Darnold Bryce
-
And why he's so inaccurate down the field. He has to heave the ball and loses all touch on those passes. We wanted a point guard, we got a point guard.

It'S tHe ScHeME!!!!!!! AlL FrAnK's FaUlT!!!!
-
Yep, even when the DB is beat, a bad throw is definitely a possibility. I know why Young throws the ball away so much now.
-
What was your stance the his contract extension? I would have let him walk and got the comp pick. Dude is good for a few picks a season, but that's about it. Average corner at best even when healthy.
