  1. This win, no. Another win, yes. I don't see that happening though.
  2. No, he's a game manager...at best. We get to see next year. I think he's about hit his ceiling.
  3. It's not a top heavy draft, man. Trust me, if it were I 'd be peeved about today's win. When a two way player is the top of the board, it says two things: the guy is talented, also there's no generational stud at any other position.
  4. Did yous see where Atlanta is expected to cut Cousins? Lol! https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/43081294/sources-falcons-expected-cut-kirk-cousins-10m-bonus-due
  5. We aren't drafting either of the QBs and Travis Hunter will be first non-QB drafted. So we are looking at ER1, DT1, OT1, CB2 or WR1. Still not bad, not bad at all. Yes, I think Hunter is a better CB than WR.
  6. Dang! I don't expect that to last, though. Still, WTF Bills?
  7. Picks 1-3 aren't moving. If the Jags win today and next week (Titans, very likely) they jump us. Cleveland is in tank mode, so I don't think they win another either. The Patriots have a brutal final slate of games, so they probably lose out too. We have the weaker SOS versus the Bears and Jets. So yeah, this is a very likely landing spot.
  8. Do you honestly think we win out? I think we stay right about where we currently are at, around #7.
  9. We will still pick around 7th. I don't see much movement. This will be our last win off the year and teams we are currently tied with have harder SOSs than us.
  10. Happy for the win, but we got a long, LONG ways to go. Our ceiling is the current state of the Cardinals. A middling .500 club.
  11. That's what I thought, not many at all. No kicker is perfect. Point is moot because we won anyway.
  12. With Tampa and Falcons playing better, this might be the last chance of a 'W' for the year.
  13. Another built in excuse for why we lose, "an iillness bug hit the locker room". Lowering the expectations of low expectations. That's our Panthers!
  14. It's crazy how folks on the huddle can draft better than our highly paid scouts. I know I saw several mocks with the first 3 selections going Ladd, Frazier and Wilson like the above post. Heck, one of them may have been mine. It seems that the scouts go into paralysis by analysis. Ladd might not be the ideal weight or height, it's tabo to draft centers high, Wilson had past injuries. All that said, those dudes just dominated at their respective positions. Our scouting department and Morgan need the K.I.S.S montra--keep it simple stupid. STOP overthinking it.
  15. I would have been doing back flips with this draft!!! I can't even do back flips.
  16. I guess XL has been dropped from the lineup for Sunday. With this week off, maybe he can grasp how to better himself...really get a hold on his craft.
  17. We sure wouldn't want to win a couple more games and screw up our draft spot. Good thinking by Canales and Morgan.
  18. Useless stats is right. I mean, I guess you proved that Tepper sucks, although most of us already knew that.
  19. Key point being if, BIG IF, the rookie contract QB is the guy. Bryce is giving us every indication he is not. Seattle is the perfect example, they were able to build around Russell Wilson on his rookie deal. However, how would Seattle have looked if Russell Wilson had played like Zack Wilson? The strategy is completely sound, no question, but applying it where all the dominoes actually fall in place is way more tricky.
  20. Beck, Dart and Gabriel are likely QB3 QB4 and QB5...Yuck. He hasn't announced yet, but I'm 99% sure Milroe goes back too. Dart and Gabriel could be okay in the right system. I have never liked Beck...at all. That said, if Milroe and Ewers go back (late first rounders), we are looking at a two selection first round QB draft. Woof!
  21. We have a ton of day 3 picks. It's worth taking a swing with one of them.
  22. PREACH! Maybe someone else will be labeled "next year" guy. Welcome to the club, lol!
  23. I think I would rather take a pure WR inT-Mac if we were going to go wideout. Slash type players typically don't excel in the NFL. The demands are too high for a duel role. If we take Hunter strictly as a CB, then I would be good. Hunter and Horn would be a damn good pairing.
