We had an opportunity to be good this year, but it seems most moves we made from the off season to now have backfired than not. Hassan was a good pick up and Gilmore, while just a rental, was a nice addition. You can go back and question most of the moves made.

And once teams got tape on us and figured us out, we can't seem to adjust. See Panthers circa 2020 for proof.

Yup, but we wanted a young veteran QB, and chose Darnold. We passed up on Slater to get another defensive player with Horn. Kept trading down as more OL were getting snapped up. Nah bruh, this crap is very much self-inflicted.

No, ALL OL with a proven veteran QB. That's the recipe. It's not so hard. 1) Establish an OL that can give a QB time. 2) Get veteran QB that can read defenses and delivers a quality ball if given time. WHY IS THIS SO HARD???? Instead: 1) Rummage through the scrap heap of OL in FA and give them nice contracts. 2) Sign a QB that has PTSD from a bad OL with the Jets; who has proven to struggle under pressure. Why? Because it's the Panther way; that's to say the absolute WRONG way.

Sure and most QBs would fail as well behind this OL. What's you point again? Oh yeah, it's easier to blame the QB. I mean one play Daley didn't even get a HAND on the pass rusher. I can't even call him a turnstile because even those get turned upon CONTACT. Maybe a Matador because they jump out of the way of on coming rushes. But yeah, those plays are all on Darnold.

Both are bad, but you do understand that the QB more dependent on the OL than the OL is dependent on the QB, right? It's elementary football.

Remember, Rhule was the interview that Hurney liked the most in the coaching search and influenced Tepper to a degree. Hurney is the gift that keeps on giving even years later.

All of them. Tepper for getting a green college coach. Rhule for getting a green college OC, Fitterer for not devoting more resources to fixing the OL.
