  1. The Panthers make bad teams look good. It's a magical power we have.
  2. Another day, another dumb move by the Panthers. I'm numb to this idiocy and have been for a while. This organization under Tepper has ran off or drained the emotional investment of most of it's core fans. I'm around still, but refuse to put more than a minimum amount of time and energy into this team anymore.
  3. I voted a 5. We will be better than last year, but being better than horrible is not exactly awe inspiring.
  4. And that's the problem. Any time you have a WR that makes the QB instead of the QB making the WR, you do not not have a franchise QB...well, legit one anyway.
  5. Josh Allen was not nearly as bad as AR-15. Josh wasn't the most accurate passer in college, but he wasn't nearly as scatter shot as Richardson. To make things worse, Anthony came out as a RSO. Really young, inexperienced AND major accuracy issues? Big red flags for me.
  6. I knew AR-15 was a bust. Dude was crazy inaccurate in college. Big arms don't mean anything if you can't hit the broad side of a barn. Not surprised a jag QB like Daniel Jones beat him out.
  7. Yup, He had a close up view of Williams and said, " I can work with this kid." Not to mention the rest of the roster has some good parts. Kind of like Harbaugh fell into a ideal situation with the Chargers. Not often a HC opportunity opens up with a borderline playoff team and a young, established QB with talent.
  8. They have a cap debt to deal with. Tanking won't be hard to mask in the name of getting their financial house in order. They are 30th next year in cap room and a dumpster fire. If they want to get that under control, FA is an afterthought. Why do you think their QB room looks like it does now? No desire to upgrade.
  9. TE is never a priority in the Tepper era. 3rd, 4th, 5th rounders along with some street FAs. You get mediocre play from mediocre picks.
  10. The Saints will tank a season or two, if needed, for Arch. Apparently they want to bring back a Manning really bad.
  11. Remember this is one of three teams that were all-in on Deshaun Watson. The Falcons bailed because the money got to high. Tepper bailed because the contract had to be guaranteed in full. Only the Browns were dumb enough to agree to that. Had the Browns bailed, Watson would be a Panther. Don't underestimate this team on shying away from absurdly laughable deals.
  12. All bids start high. It will most likely be a 2nd and a player, maybe as low as a 3rd as part of a bigger package.
  13. Yeah, he told Tepper to go F himself. He didn't want any part of this organization.
  14. The League has good tape on the second half of Bryce's season last year. I think defenses will adjust.
  15. Why would he do that? He can hold the clipboard with his good arm and keep the money.
  16. Point being we were a player or two away in 2015 and that ended up in a SB run. That staff knew it. This staff is throwing mud at the wall to see if anything sticks just to save face. Another crappy season and things could get really ugly in the front office, potentially with the coaching staff as well. Besting last year's win total by a game or two isn't going to cut it. No amount of spin can gloss over another losing season.
  17. When we got Jared Allen--an elite pass rusher on the wrong side of 30, it made sense. This makes no sense.
  18. We are nowhere close to competing for a deep post season run. If we make this move, it's about someone in the front office or staff trying to save their job.
  19. LOl, I looked at their roster and taking one of our better players would be a downgrade for the Bengals.
  20. The Panthers front office has to poach talent elsewhere because they certainly can't draft and develop players here.
  21. Where do they need help? Moreover, do we have any players they would actually want?
  22. Traits, flashes and "untapped" potential>>>>>>than actual production in Tepper's scouting department. Until this changes, we will remain in a purgatory of suck.
  23. The overreaction was from anyone thinking this year's Panthers were gong to be anything marked better than previous squads under Tepper.
  24. Most of us wanted McConkey. Turns out most of us were right (again). He was still available and we could have drafted him right in front of the Chargers at #33 had Dan not panicked.
