Richard Sherman thinks Mac Jones criticized unfairly
PootieNunu replied to panthers55's topic in Carolina Panthers
We already have the same type of QB in Teddy. Of Jones' 424 attempts this season, 145 of them were thrown to pass-catchers at or behind the line of scrimmage, good for a rate of 34.1%. That's high. Really high. Of Jones' 4,500 passing yards, more than half (53.5%) was via yards after the catch. -
Richard Sherman thinks Mac Jones criticized unfairly

Those same guys talked up Blaine Gabbert and some even thought he should have been our pick over Newton. Mac Jones is physically limited in mobility and arm strength, no way he should be a first rounder. -
Report: 49ers called Panthers about Teddy Bridgewater
PootieNunu replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
Different kinds of hate though. People "hate on" Tom Brady for achieving crazy levels of success. People "hate" Teddy Bridgewater because he sucks at QB. Learn the difference. -
Anybody remember when Colin Jones "asked" for his release?
PootieNunu replied to JABANOG's topic in Carolina Panthers
These players "ask" for their release because they know a cut is in their near future. They make these sort of moves to save face and hope another team will pick them up. -

He is not a run first or pass first QB. -
People have some kind of vendetta against you. There may be a price on your head, I am not sure how it came to this.

Report: 49ers called Panthers about Teddy Bridgewater
PootieNunu replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
Its not about liking someone, anyone with a brain and eyes can see that Teddy is not our answer at QB. He had a chance to prove himself worthy and did exactly what he has done in every season as a starter. Now we are looking for a replacement asap and it is only Teddy's fault. If Teddy is not gone this offseason, there is no way he returns for the third year. -

He might want to see what teams he is playing next year first, it wont be as a Panther. Its more likely he is finding new ways to deflect blame onto his teammates and coaches to cover up his short comings. -
He tried that for a couple of years and I think he is tired of it, the only thing he has told the current staff is get a QB. I am pretty sure when he was interviewing GM candidates he was asking what would they do to get us a real QB.
-
If there is nothing else and we can get him for cheap we can give him a try. He is not the guy I would go after first. I would rather see him in our offense than be forced to watch Teddy again.

Chris Simms Just Released his 2021 QB Rankings
PootieNunu replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well the great Chris Simms has spoken. This settles it guys, we have found our new QB. Jags: Wilson Jets : Lawrence Falcons : Jones Panthers : Mond -
Kiper Mock 2.0: Mac Jones to Panthers at #8.
PootieNunu replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
He is very comparable to Dalton. -
He is one of the few QBs to grade out worse than Teddy did last year. I know he had Gase and people want to compare him to Tannehill, but he was never that awful even when playing for Gase. I would take a hard pass. I think this is the kind of crap Tepper is hinting at not wanting, another scrub we want to make an all-pro overnight.

Teddy -
That is the same face I make every time Bridgewater throws short of the sticks or the endzone.
-
We let the so called "football guys" decide last year and we ended up with Teddy Bridgewater. I think Tepper is just letting them know he is not going for that poo again. He wants an upper tier QB not some bench warming scrub we try to make into a starter.

Screw all of those options

Child injured by Britt Reid has permanent brain injuries

Exactly, this will be nothing more than a footnote on his wikipedia page. He will have another job in no time. -
McClain Insinuates Deshaun is Far-Fetched for Panthers
PootieNunu replied to Troys99x4's topic in Carolina Panthers
None of these guys really know what is going on. We will try to trade for Watson, but no one knows the outcome. According to these guys Watt had narrowed his search down to the Bills, Packers, or Titans. He went to the Cardinals. -

He lost his job with the chiefs, but he is not heading to the welfare line. I am very doubtful the legal system does too much to inconvenience him. -

Not much different, minimal jail time, probation, classes. Unless they were a repeat offender. -

Alcohol is still readily available to pickup at your nearest store and/or restaurant and then go driving about. I had 2 cousins die to a drunk driver, uncles die from alcoholism, but America has to have there booze ready at a moments notice. The worst part is he will get a slap on the wrist for his actions. He will still be living the best life while this girl and her parents have to deal with it everyday. -
He currently wants a 3 year deal so he can cash in again when the new money comes in, last year he wanted a 4 year deal. IF he stays in Dallas this season on the tag he will be looking for a 2 year deal next offseason. His agent said he wants 3 years 123 million. Dallas Cowboys: Brace yourselves, Dak Prescott may want a 3-year deal. The Dallas Cowboys are at a standstill in their negotiations with Dak Prescott. ... Dallas wanted a five-year that they could backload and Dak wanted a four-year deal that would get him back to free agency sooner.
-
That is a longshot, but probably the only way we even consider Dak.

Its not that you can just name 10 QBs that are better than him, he is not a top tier QB. He is in the lower tier but wants to be paid like the elite tier.
